Higher still and higher

From the earth thou springest

Like a cloud of fire;

The blue deep thou wingest

And singing still dost soar, and soaring ever singest.

-Shelley, "To a Sky-Lark" (1820).
Just prior to her departure for the continent--where she is signed with Brigitte Models in Munich--Tracie Stern did a test Stateside, and the results comprise nothing less than the greatest images that this popular model has ever created.

Needless to say, Tracie looks infinitely more gorgeous at a size 14 than at her former size 12. And while this statement would be true of any plus-size model, the fuller curves look especially attractive on Mrs. Stern.

What's more, she could not possibly have chosen a better dress to show off her Classical figure than this sensational pale-blue masterpiece. It frames the beauty of her soft shoulders and round, shapely arms in the most becoming manner imaginable. And, brilliant model that she is, Tracie knows just how to "work" the dress, allowing it to fly in the breeze like the raiment of an angel:

The photographer deserves particular accolades for capturing how the sunlight illuminated the dress, making it seem to glow of its own accord. Studio photographers can say what they will, but taking a plus-size model outdoors, and showing how her innate beauty harmonizes with the glory of the natural world, creates an effect that cannot be duplicated in an urban environment.

The above image appears on Tracie's Brigitte comp card, but Tracie also sent us the following example from the same test, which is, if anything even more exciting. With the dress spreading outwards in this manner, Tracie appears to be caught between the earth and the sky, a force of nature, a goddess descended to earth, exhibiting a otherworldly beauty beyond mortal ken.

These images, finally, show Tracie as she really is, casting aside the trappings of the modern world, and revealing her unbridled feminine essence.

And here is a truly gorgeous headshot of Tracie from the same test--an enchantingly soft, Nordic look that displays the roundness of her facial features especially well. Her hair exhibits an appealing "measured messiness," and the organic-looking top and the sand-coloured background are the prefect compliments for the peaches-and-cream freshness of her complexion, her pale pink lips, and her deep blue eyes.

Tracie tells us that life in Italy agrees with her very much. We look forward to seeing what magic Tracie will produce, now that she has emigrated to the lands that once comprised part of . . . the Old World.
- In the words of a true Romantic . . .

I definitely agree that those are the loveliest pictures Tracie has ever taken. I'm fascinated by the texture in the dress, and the setting is marvellous.

There is another picture from this series on Tracie's Brigitte Models comp card, along with a very pretty pink bikini-top shot. I think these soft, delicately feminine colours suit her perfectly. There's a great mix of innocence and sensuality in the pictures.
