View Full Version : Valerie at Dress Barn Woman
Although Miss Lefkowitz's presence in the new Dress Barn Woman spring campaign is not yet reflected on the company's site, one of our readers kindly took out her cell phone camera and snapped this image of a gorgeous Valerie poster displayed at her local Dress Barn store. We are told that the dimensions of the image are truly impressive--well over life-size.

Valerie's pose is highly sensual, emphasizing the womanly fullness of her hips. A recumbent position is always an attractive way for a goddess to place herself, but this is a particularly beautiful presentation. Valerie's pose suggests alluring weight and languour, relaxation and indulgence. "Come here and worship me," she seems to say. Her face doesn't quite have the round fullness that it once possessed, but she appears buxom and very curvaceous. Perhaps the image was photographed a few months ago, before she fully diminished herself. Mind you, even at a mere size 14, Valerie still looks more gorgeous at that size than most other models, thanks to her agreeably non-Amazonian 5'8 height and her ideal pear-shaped proportions.

Let us hope that this image precedes a full-fledged spring campaign for DBW featuring Valerie, complete with one of the attractive promotional booklets that the company used to produce, before its casting policies regrettably turned in a faux-plus direction.

Dress Barn has a new booklet out featuring Valerie.

She's pretty, and her poses are very graceful, but it's sad to see how thin she has become again. I miss how goddesslike she was just a year ago, when she was a size 18. Obviously she's still more attractive than most models, but it's only when she's fuller-figured that she blossoms into her highest beauty.

Also, the zoom feature on the books yields a pixelated low-res image. Dress Barn used to be much better about their presentation. Their zoom used to show lovely close-ups of the images in their publications.

I received a Dress Barn e-flyer today with a picture of Valerie:

Cute picture, but I agree with the previous poster that it's disappointing to see her so thin. When she was fuller-figured, she was one of the most gorgeous of plus-size models; possibly the most gorgeous of those who are currently working. I miss the curvier Valerie.
