Earlier this month (February 3, 2009) the vivacious Kailee O'Sullivan, the shining star of the Click NY and Hughes agencies, appeared on CBS's The Early Show in a piece about fashion do's and don'ts.

From the time of her very first promotional video to her recent stunning fashion clips for Simply Be, Kailee O'Sullivan has been possibly the most captivating of all plus-size models on video, so we are delighted to have another example of her exciting video work to share with her countless fans.

The guest for the segment was Glamour magazine editor S.Y. Schwartz, and unfortunately, the tone of the piece wasn't as size-positive as it could have been. But that doesn't matter one iota, because the sheer visual wonder of seeing Kailee in moving pictures supersedes even the most ambivalent of commentary.

To help make the "after" pictures stand out from the "before" shots, programs like this invariably show the models without makeup and with neutral expressions during the "before" stills. But as you can see, Kailee already looks gorgeous in her "before" photo. Her figure is Classically curvaceous, and, starlet that she is, she couldn't resist infusing even this photo with the spark of her inimitable personality. One sees the wit and intelligence in her eyes, as if she were sharing a private joke with the viewer.

But then, in the "after" photos, she lets the full sunlight of her beauty shine forth. (The first three stills here are the right-side panels of side-by-side before-and-after shots.)

Even in casual GAP clothing, the voluptuous curves of her flawless figure are evident. One marvels at the exquisite roundness of her facial features, the delicate fairness of her complexion--and oh, those doll-like cheekbones . . .

But Kailee doesn't rest on her beauty alone. She displays a vast array of poses and expressions, all of them natural yet highly compelling, like this ultra-confident glance.

When the "after" image fills the screen, Kailee first returns to her glorious smile--a smile so heartwarming that it could better illuminate the dawn streetscape behind her than could the rising sun.

But now--now is when Kailee works her magic. She throws back her head and strikes the signature "I'm-so-gorgeous-and-don't-you-know it!" pose for which her fans adore her. What other model can generate so much excitement in a one-minute video clip?

Just look at the irresistible vanity in her demeanour. Only a goddess who knows that she is one of the most beautiful women in the world could exude confidence like this--and she is absolutely right to be so self-assured.

The camera angle then switches to a profile view of Kailee that celebrates the luscious curves of her perfect figure. Observe how buxom she is--and note the seductive curve of her soft waist, the most alluring of all feminine features.

As the camera returns to a head-on shot, notice once again the intensely desirable self-satisfaction in her expression, the vibrant personality that sparkles in her eyes.

As if to deliberately give her admirers multiple views of her facial features, Kailee turns her head first in one direction, then the other. Here, her expression is softer and gentler, showing another aspect of her talent.

Although we have removed the audio from the clip, at this point the Glamour editor--obviously awed by Kailee's beauty--breaks off discussing the clothing for a moment and is compelled to say,

"She looks really amazing."

To which the Early Show host is moved to respond, addressing Kailee with genuine appreciation,

"You really do."

Miss O'Sullivan turns in their direction and acknowledges their praise--beaming with pride.

One more profile shot displays the sumptuous curves of Kailee's voluptuous figure. Notice that what makes her so attractive is that her shapely waist is not artificially confined, but naturally displayed.

As Kailee walks off at the end of her segment, flashing an adorable smile, one has a final opportunity to glimpse her soft curves forming the fabric of her top into attractive contours.

There is no other model currently working who could generate so much visual interest and sheer delight in a TV appearance. Kailee brings a fluidity of movement, a creativity of posing, and a warmth of presence that is utterly unique. Add to that her astounding beauty of face and figure, and she is simply mesmerizing.

As mentioned above, we have removed the original audio track of this video and replaced it with music which fits Kailee perfectly--the opening bars of Beethoven's Pastoral symphony--for she personally embodies the beauty of nature at its best. Even in casual contemporary clothing, she inspires thoughts of Arcadian bliss.

Little wonder that she is so popular and successful, and one of the industry's brightest lights.

Kailee looks beautiful in the video! Yes, even in those "before" pics, let alone in the "after" section. I even sort of liked her top in the "before" pic. But in the "after" pictures- wow.

Even without the dialogue, I can tell what the bit was about- encouraging curvy girls not to wear high-waisted pants. And about that they're totally right. No one, whether they're curvy or underweight, looks good in high-waisted pants. Low-rise pants are much more attractive and feminine. That's why the low-rise trend was such a good one for curvy women.

This is a case where it doesn't matter what's "in" or "out"- high-waisted pants are always a miss, and low-rise is always a hit.

Still, in my mind I always imagine Kailee in a princess-like prom dress or ballgown. She's so pretty. That gorgeous background music suits her perfectly. She's like a song of springtime.
