Whitney on Shine's ''The Thread''

Shine is an online women's network on Yahoo.com, something like ivillage and similar domains, and The Thread is one of its programs.

It recently featuring ANTM Cycle 10 winner Whitney Thompson in a cosmetics story. Whitney appears from -7:28 to -6:02 in the counter, and then from -1:40 to the end.

Very pretty spring dress on Whitney, and she's as captivating on camera as ever. I've always loved her soft, girlish voice and her lively mannerisms. And those tresses are so gorgeous.

I still wish she were fuller-figured, though. From the beginning, that's been the only drawback about her win. If she could at least blossom into a size 14, she'd be so much more revolutionary.

Incidentally, Whitney deserves a nod for all of the charity work that she has been doing ever since her <i>ANTM</I> win.

Here, for example, are two press releases that show her involvement in fighting multiple sclerosis. A few weeks ago, she rang the Nasdaq opening bell,<p><center><img src="http://www.judgmentofparis.com/wt/nasdaq01.jpg"></center><p>and was subsequently part of a publicity event in Times Square, all of which was designed raise funds for MS research.<p><center><img src="http://www.judgmentofparis.com/wt/nasdaq02.jpg"></center><p>It's nice to see her putting her celebrity status to good use.

I just read that Whitney Thompson has changed agencies, and is now signed with Wilhelmina.

I think it's a great move for her, since Wilhelmina has an established plus-size division and therefore better access to clients than Elite, which doesn't have any experience in this field.

I wish her the best with her new agency.

She isn't full figured but at least she is a healthy sized woman, which is encouraging.
