View Full Version : Lindsey & Molly: More from Aurora Formals
By far the greatest Aurora Formals images from the company's 2010 prom campaign are those that feature the stunning Katherine Roll (MSA, New York) and Lindsey Garbelmen (MSA, Dorothy Combs), in a visual pairing for the ages. But Lindsey also appears in a number of pictures with Molly, a girl from the Benz agency in Florida, who also joined Miss Garbelman for last year's Aurora promotion.

Both girls are beautiful, but this, time, it is Lindsey who steals the show. The following is one of the most adorable photos that Miss Garbelman has ever taken. Her gesture is so cute, so girlish--perfect for creating the identity of a coquettish prom princess. Her wavy tresses are highly romantic.

The fuchsia colour of the dress is quintessentially youthful. Longer gowns may constitute the ideal prom look, but because shorter dresses show off full-figured girls' gorgeous legs, these abbreviated styles have a definite appeal as well.

Lindsey adopts another splendid pose in the following picture, which shows her twirling a lock of her hair around her finger--an overwhelmingly alluring gesture. Even her fellow model seems to be enamoured of her.

The next image shows the gorgeous, rounded shape of Lindsey's arms. These particular gowns aren't as fitted as some of the other AF designs, but they do admirably frame the wearers' bare limbs and shoulders, which are the most attractive fashion accessories of all.

Here is another example of a pretty, abbreviated gown. Notice how it demurely emphasizes Lindsey's reverse-view curves.

Ah, the colours! The 2010 line exhibits by far the loveliest colours of any Aurora Formals collection. This banana-raspberry paring is simply delectable (as are the models themselves).

Doesn't Lindsey look especially beautiful here? Her tresses seem uncommonly dark, and the swoop of hair over her forehead is quite dramatic. Her facial features are soft and gentle.

Short of an altogether strapless style, a halter cut is the ideal design for plus-size dresses, as it displays an attractive expanse of the wearer's back. And in the case of full-figured models, that offers the sight of plump, sensual curves, rather than the grotesquely jutting shoulderblades of emaciated waifs.

Speaking of the colourfulness of this year's Aurora line, here is an interesting hue. Does an orange/copper dress seem like an unusual choice? Perhaps, but Molly makes her gown look stunning--especially thanks to her round, shapely arms.

Green and orange form an attractive visual complement. Notice the beauty of Lindsey's hair flowing over her shoulder in a voluminous, wavy ponytail. This campaign is as much a showcase of perfect curvy-girl hairstyles as it is a presentation of ideal dresses.

This dress-style is similar to the one above, except with an attractive sash down the front.

Metallics? The fabric choice may be unconventional, but no one can deny that this design makes both models' figures look remarkably luscious. The close fit brings Lindsey's womanly hips into clear relief, while Molly's dress appears painted on. Gorgeous.

Much as we've admired the AF hairstyling, the "bun" look that dominates the final set of images is, alas, not the ideal choice. When full-figured goddesses possess luxurious tresses, they should either wear their hair down, or in abundant 'dos that still suggest considerable volume. These close-fitting buns minimize the hair far too much. Nevertheless, the gowns are splendid. Lindsey looks extremely appealing in her pink/red dress, while Molly looks sumptuous in this rare white option, her shapely arms drawing the viewer's attention.

Here is one of Lindsey's prettiest pictures, in a gown that suggests the luscious fullness of her waist. Throughout this campaign, her facial features have appeared especially lovely.

The final Aurora dress style shows attractive embroidery at the upper hem, along with an effective and original design element--a band under the bust that emphasizes the wearer's buxom curves, accentuating them in a "gathering" manner.

It is scarcely possible to offer Aurora Formals sufficient praise for its 2010 campaign. Gorgeous and genuinely full-figured models, stunning dresses, attractive hair and makeup, and admirably size-positive photography--this campaign features an ideal blend of every element that showcases full-figured beauty to best advantage.

Hopefully, all shapely women will see these images of Katherine, Lindsey, and Molly, and recognize their own beauty. And if any girls ever had doubts about showing up on prom night, these pictures should convince them to attend, dressed in the kind of feminine gowns that best set off their voluptuous charms, enabling them to wow their school friends as never before--and to leave their underweight rivals in the dust.
