View Full Version : Barbara & Melissa King for CJ Banks

Fresh from her appearance in the April issue of Glamour, the very curvy Melissa King appears on the cover of the CJ Banks site, and in a new e-mail flyer. You can see that her figure has some discernible fullness. The CJ Banks clothing is conservative, but I love the fact that they showcase it on genuine plus-size models.
Barbara Brickner joins Melissa on the site's "Outfits" page modelling a number of spring ensembles.
This is quite pretty:
I love how shapely Barbara appears in the ensemble on the right.
Melissa's pictures are remarkably sensual. In the image on the left, you can see a gentle swell at her waist, and luscious thighs.
In the left image below, again there's some discernible roundness around her middle. Nice hairstyle too.
Melissa looks terrific with her fuller figure. It's great to see magazines and clients using her -- and moreover, acknowledging the curves of her body rather than hiding them. She makes the clothing look much more attractive than it would appear on a faux-plus model.

The CJ Banks site also features Barbara's lovely images on several landing pages:
And two with Melissa:
Gorgeous images, every one.
Just the fact that this company is featuring beautiful and legitimately full-figured models makes me eager to support them. When it comes to buying basics, I'll go to them before I go to any store that only features straight-size or faux-plus models, because I know that CJ Banks actually respects its customers, since it shows its clothing on models with true plus-size figures.

I received a beautiful picture of Barbara in my Inbox today, in a CJ Banks ad:
She looks curvy and happy with herself, and the outfit is kind of nice.
Whenever I see beautiful pictures of plus-size models like this, I always think, "Why would anyone need any models to be thinner than this?" Barbara has a normal, shapely, healthy figure. She should be the standard size of all models, and then the full-figured ones could go up to more generous sizes.

Today's e-mail flyer from CJ Banks featured another lovely image of Barbara in that conservative but pretty skirt ensemble:
Whatever she's wearing, in any campaign, Barbara always manages to give the apparel some extra zing. She lends the clothing considerable beauty just because she's wearing it.
And I do like the idea that skirts (and dresses) are becoming ever-more-popular options for women, in every situation. It's nice to see feminine fashions steadily returning to popularity.

Much as I admire Barbara, I have to say that Melissa looks even curvier in this campaign. This morning, CJ Banks sent out an e-mailer that features the loveliest picture yet from this promotion.
Melissa looks very attractive with this hairstyle, and the pose and the outfit show off the generous shape of her figure. She looks fantastic.
It proves once again that becoming curvier always enhances a model's beauty, and is a veritable fountain of youth. Emme looked terrific in her recent Rachel Ray TV appearance, and Melissa looks great in this campaign. Just as nothing ages a model more terribly than weight loss, so nothing preserves youth and increases beauty better than acquiring a fuller, more robust figure.

More stunning beauty from CJ Banks. Here's Melissa on the current cover page looking fantastic. The slightly longer hair definitely suits her. Even her face looks prettier now that she's at a fuller size. She looks so contented. Love the picture.
She also looks terrific in the new Alfred Dunner landing page:
Another landing page, featuring both Melissa and Barbara:
Here are a couple of new outfit photos. You can really sense the newfound fullness of her body. She has never looked this good in her entire career. I actually like the skirt in the outfit on the right. I could see buying that.
Also, two new Barbara Brickner outfits:

Yet another great picture of Melissa looking admirably full-figured appears in the newest CJ Banks flyer:
The outfit isn't the best (other CJ Banks offerings have been prettier), but it definitely showcase Mrs. King's womanly silhouette.
It's so encouraging to see her modelling at her curvy size and not diminishing herself. I'd love to see her in more campaigns.

Barbara looking summery on the new CJ Banks cover page:
And very colourful in a new e-flyer. I'm not sure about this print, but Barbara looks beautiful in anything.

Allow me to add another flyer to this thread, with a new picture of Barbara:
There is also a very pretty picture of Melissa and Barbara together on the Alfred Dunner landing page at the CJ Banks site. Melissa's outfit is quite nice, and she looks wonderfully curvy.

CJ Banks has two new images in rotation on the cover page, one of Melissa, looking especially curvy:
And one of Barbara:
Also, they recently released another e-mail circular with a view of Melissa looking full and shapely in her skirt outfit:

Melissa currently also appears in two new ensembles on the "outfits" page:
She looks unapologetically curvy in both pictures, and really adds some shapely beauty to these looks.

A new CJ Banks flyer has Barbara looking lovely in a Mother's Day promo.
The photograph gives her the look of having uncommonly dark hair in this image, and it works for her, especially against the colourful cardigan. Well, every colour works for her - and even though the outfit isn't body conscious, you still sense her full figure. Lovely.
