Courtesy of gorgeous plus-size model Caralyn Mirand, whom readers will remember from an interview that we conducted with this young beauty after her memorable appearance on the Tyra show, we are pleased to offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her forthcoming campaign for promwear label Sydney's Closet.

For this shoot, Caralyn is joined by two of the most celebrated plus-size goddesses in the world. Fresh from walking the runway for this line at Full-Figured Fashion Week, Kelsey Olson makes a triumphant return to the Sydney's Closet studios. Yanderis Lodos, who represented plus-size women so admirably this week on the Telemundo network, completes this extraordinary trifecta of beauty.

Yes, this is a bona fide sneak peek. Caralyn (pictured on the centre) took this snapshot right off of the photographer's monitor. Despite the reflections on the screen, the models look utterly breathtaking. Let's approach a little closer, shall we?

Kelsey's fair complexion has never looked more exquisite. Her skin tone is immaculate, her flesh soft and white, unbroken by any hint of a visible clavicle. The whisper of a flush at the cheeks, however, gives her a vibrant rather than pale look. She adopts her most heartbreakingly gentle, vulnerable look. She looks as if she were still in high school, the archetypal prom princess, the queen bee of the cool clique.

Caralyn provides a fine brunette complement to Miss Olson's blonde loveliness. In keeping with the character of darker-haired girls from time immemorial, she appears more mysterious. Yanderis, meanwhile, introduces voluptuous sensuality into the image, with a hale and robust look.

* * *

A second photograph is somewhat obscured by lighting glare, but devoted fans will surely see past the reflections to discern the stunning beauty in this preview image.

In this image, Miss Olson is seated in the centre--fittingly so, as the most seductively indolent of the three--while a gust of wind catches her fair tresses. Her snow-white skin is dazzling. The outstretched legs offer an alluring sight. Her acolytes flank her, as if protecting the vulnerable princess in their midst. Yanderis exudes dark sensuality, while Caralyn offers further mystery, her look emitting coy inscrutability and divulging no secrets.

We are deeply grateful to Caralyn for allowing us to post these exciting preview pictures and cannot wait for the debut of the campaign itself. This is surely the finest cast that Sydney's Closet has ever assembled for any of its photo shoots. Given the extraordinary beauty of these preview pictures, the final results will surely be unforgettable.
In our third sneak peek at the forthcoming Sydney's Closet campaign, it is Yanderis's turn to take the centre position in the triad. She looks exotically beautiful in a lavender-hued gown, her facial features exquisitely full. The dress provides a discreet yet eye-catching glimpse of her buxom décolletage, ensuring that every prom-goer in her presence would spend the entire evening intoxicated, not with alcohol, but with this goddess's dizzying beauty.

Kelsey flanks her on the left in an electric-blue dress (similar in colour to the item that she wore for Sydney's Closet on the FFFWeek runway), which sets off her blonde hair and fair skin especially well. Notice the tiara that adorns her golden tresses, marking her as the crown princess amid this trio. Ever soft and angelic, she appears the gentlest and most vulnerable of the three, the one most in need of protection, yet also lively and fetching.

Caralyn, meanwhile, sports a gown in a rich, natural green, an earth tone that harmonizes with her brown hair and darker beauty. Her hair adornment recalls the styles of the 1920s, and surely she seems the most irrepressible and vivacious of the three, the one likeliest to shatter decorum and break every rule, causing mischief and mayhem--to the endless delight of her admirers.

Sydney's Closet ensured a triumphant campaign simply by booking these three dazzling beauties, and as behind-the-scenes photos demonstrate, our trio did not disappoint, but brought their extraordinary talent to bear in showcasing these stunning gowns.

Plus-size models invariably look particularly attractive in prom dresses--an ultra-feminine mode of apparel that is tailor-made to showcase the voluptuous contours that true goddesses possess. We eagerly look forward to the full campaign.

And once again, a special thanks to Miss Mirand for sharing her tantalizing behind-the-scenes images from the shoot.

How wonderful to see new images from Caralyn Mirand, and to see her in the company of Yanderis and Kelsey! Caralyn definitely has a glint of mischief in her pretty eyes. I'm looking forward to seeing more from this lovely young model.

Sydney's Closet has posted a note about its shoot with Kelsey, Yanderis, and Caralyn on its web log, accompanied by a host of lively behind-the-scenes photos.

It's quite an entertaining post, showing some of the tricks make a shoot happen - like ironing a dress while a model is still wearing it (!).

I especially love this caption to one of the photos:

Hair Stylist John Napoli curls the long golden locks of model Kelsey Olson
"Long, golden locks." Kelsey's beauty makes everyone who writes about her refer to her in the language of a fairytale princess. *sigh* She looks just as beautiful without a trace of makeup, au naturel, as she does when she is glamourized.

The most tantalizing comment? A reference to a "videographer" That must surely mean that there will be a video of this shoot! I can't wait to see it...
Sydney's Closet CEO Phyllis Brasch Librach tells us that her company has "almost 2,000 images to review," so it may yet be a little while before the public gets to see the results of this exciting shoot. However, she states that "the girls really clicked on the set" and "look divine in every shot"--which Caralyn's previous pictures have indicated--so we eagerly look forward to the masterpieces that this session is sure to yield.

In the meantime, Miss Mirand has kindly provided us with a brief note about her impressions of the experience. As a young model who was given the unique opportunity to work with girls who are legends in the industry, like Kelsey and Yanderis--goddesses whose first jobs appeared when they were Caralyn's own tender age--Miss Mirand is in a unique position of being both a professional and an enthusiast, so her account of the two-day event is singularly interesting. She writes:

The Sydney's Closet shoot went over very well. It was amazing to work with such phenomenal models ( Kelsey Olson, Yanderis Lodos, and Denise Bidot) who have been around and have already proven themselves worthy in the plus-size industry! I, on the other hand, truly felt like the rookie, but none of them treated me like it. They were so kind and open to talking to me about everything. Whether it was their modelling experiences or just personal experiences, they treated me as a friend.

As for the cast and crew of Sydney's Closet, they were very professional and accommodating. Everything went very smoothly, and I felt so relaxed and comfortable. The designs this year are better than ever before. I truly believe they have something for everyone! I really wanted to take a few of the dresses home.

All in all, it was a fantastic shoot. I cannot wait to see the results!
This note provides further confirmation that not only are the top plus-size models the most gorgeous women in the world, but kind and sweet as well. The beauty without mirrors the beauty within, as the Platonists have always asserted.

Kelsey's "long, golden locks" being teased into magnificence by the Sydney's Closet hairstylist. Miss Olson looks just as pretty without a trace of makeup as she does when fully glamourized.
