Like everyone else here, I was fascinated by the "Glamorous Curves" exhibition which photographer Wahb Mabkhout staged last year in L.A., featuring cinematic images of numerous stunning plus-size models, including Kelsey Olson.

There was the initial thread (http://www.judgmentofparis.com/board/showthread.php?t=2112) about the event, which included the behind-the-scenes video of the shoot.

Then, Sarah contributed an exceptionally fine write-up (http://www.judgmentofparis.com/board/showthread.php?t=2137) about the show itself.

And finally, the Judgment of Paris ran an original interview (http://www.judgmentofparis.com/wahb/) with the photographer.

Now Mr. Mabkhout has published an interesting article about the relationship of the plus-size industry to high fashion. It's well worth a read:

It comes illustrated with a number of stunning images, including Wahb's portrait of Kelsey, which was the standout image of his "Glamorous Curves" show.

I still hope that this photographer will find a way to work within the plus-size industry. His background working with Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues makes him an ideal candidate for showcasing the gorgeous curves of plus-size models in a truly glamorous and pro-curvy way, particularly given his willingness to work with genuinely full-figured models and his opposition to excessive airbrushing.
