Here's something that's sure to bring a smile to the faces of Kelsey Olson fans everywhere. Torrid has put her on their website's cover! It's a really pretty image, in one of their most beautiful dresses. Lovely, sweet expression, and the tiara is the crowning touch (pun intended).

What an amazing company........

Oh, how pretty indeed! She looks like a living angel, both ethereal and softly full-figured at the same time, just like a Rubens goddess. This is a remarkable cover, and probably my favourite Kelsey-Torrid picture yet. The dress looks so perfect, too, using the "body-as-fashion-accessory" idea of showing off a voluptuous vixen's most attractive features, and feminine (the ruffles!), and very attractive with a generous waist. I can hardly imagine a more ideal dress, either for prom or any special occasion. A young lady could wear it and feel sexy and comfortable.

It's such a gentle look, almost dreamlike. She appears...vulnerable is the word I think I'm looking for, a fairytale beauty in every way, delicate but sensual.

I think plus-size models are the last true princesses on earth.

and showing off a new black gown for prom/evening occasions:

along with several more tops. I like the smile she has in that dress picture, since usually, Kelseys more serious or emotional expressions are the ones that are most unique. But that cover pic cant be beat. Its magical.
Now that March 15th has passed, we can share another cute out-take from Mr. Hermogeno's prom shoot with Kelsey. He calls this triptych, appropriately enough . . . "Kelsey mad" (!):

To turn back to sweet from sour, however, here is a closer view of the Black Satin Empire Halter Dress to which Melanie linked, above. Kelsey's facial features look especially pretty here, and she exhibits a particular characteristic that infuses the image with radiant joy, and that is, her "smiling eyes":

And here is a close-up from an altogether lovely Black And Silver Foil Halter Top photograph, which displays the look that has become Kelsey's trademark--her signature expression, the one that is most uniquely her own--a deeply emotional gaze, communicating at once a touch of . . . helplessness, and a feeling of Sehnsucht (longing) so profound, that viewers can scarcely avert their gaze:

Three different "looks," three different Kelseys, with one common factor connecting them all--i.e., the model's timeless beauty.

And yet, that dreamily romantic cover image still surpasses them all . . .

It is so nice to see full-figured, beautiful women in flattering images. I had come to despair of seeing such a thing until I stumbled across this site. Kelsey is a gorgeous young lady who could outshine any beanpole skulking around in Hollywood or on the catwalk. I suspect that many men who regularly make insulting comments about larger women and obsess over the photoshopped skinny women they see in Maxim would change their minds if plus-size models were moved to the forefront in our culture as icons of true feminine beauty. Kelsey is good enough to be on the cover of Vogue in my opinion.

I'm really glad to have Torrid though.

I just saw that Torrid is now selling the beautiful top that Melanie posted in her message. In this picture, Kelsey looks even more gorgeous than she does on the community page. I love this image, and the peasant look is my all time favorite.
