I just saw that Christina Schmidt is back modeling at Torrid again. And wow, what a dreamy dress! It's like something right out of a fairytale.

Her first picture, and I think it's one of her best, if not THE best, ever.....
The shot is nothing less than a masterpiece, and already surpasses even the greatest images that Christina and Michael Anthony produced during their last acclaimed pairing.

The gown is ethereally beautiful, an Ivory Cummerbund Glitter Dress that is kin to the Coral Cummerbund Glitter Dress that we recently saw on Kelsey Olson. This has rightly been praised as the most attractive dress that Torrid has ever produced--the perfect enchanted apparel to transform a voluptuous vixen into a prom princess, or to make her the belle of any ball.

The design ideally frames the beauty of a curvaceous figure, and accentuates the model's Classical proportions. The opulent earrings (a Christina Schmidt trademark) add luxury to this delicate look, and the ultra-feminine pink lipgloss is the piece de resistance. No model could incarnate the angelic look better than Christina does in this dress, with her classic facial features, and demure but joyful expression.

Here is a screen-size version of the gown, showing its becoming silhouette on the model's figure:

And here is a closer version, showing the design's exquisite detail.

Once again, Mr. Hermogeno and Torrid have presented Christina at her very best. We look forward to seeing more magic from what was obviously another glorious shooting experience.

Ohmygod, she is SO beautiful. I think the dress really brings out a side of Christina she has never shown before. It reminds me a little of the dress Hilary Duff wore in A Cinderella Story. The color makes me think of a bridal gown, but the dress looks light and comfortable and fun. I am so tempted to try it.

I was hoping Christina would model for Torrid again, and her dress pictures were always the most inspiring. She is a real-life princess.

Renata mentioned that prom movie, and I was just thinking how great it would have been if Christina had been able to model this dress in a magazine layout, or some kind of Torrid editorial. I can just picture it - shots of Christina on the dance floor (with a ring of admirers all hoping to get to dance with her), jealous looks from the skinny girls, and getting crowned Prom Princess at the end of the night. A whole fantasy-come-true sequence. I would LOVE to see something like that!

But I think the picture is gorgeous just as it is, and the most attractive dress Christina has ever modelled. I cant wait to see more from this shoot!
Melanie's idea of a prom editorial has proven to be extremely popular with many of Christina's fans. And in fact, with Christina's acting background, a video promotion in an setting such as Melanie describes would be an even-more-inspired innovation. Many companies are now beginning to supplement their print campaigns with video features (and, in the case of Reitmans, even with television commercials). A Torrid online video or television commercial, starring Christina, would be nothing short of brilliant.

In the meantime, here is a second image from Christina's current Torrid shoot, showing a Brown Ruched V-Neck Dress. It's pretty, but that white princess-like fantasy-gown, shown above, still remains the ne plus ultra of prom or social dresses, especially as presented by the gorgeous Miss Schmidt.

- Christina Schmidt galleries
