I read about this elsewhere, and found it interesting. Crystal Renn is appearing in this seasons Dolce & Gabbana campaign. Her picture comes up first when you go to the D&G advertising site:

The models are semi-undressed, so some people really might want to avoid the link.

The other images on that site are of straight-size models, and they look just awful, plasticy and waxy, and with vacant stares, like a parody of bad fashion photography. But Crystal looks a little more alive, even though the colors are just as muted. Its almost as if D&G deliberately allowed her to look more attractive than the other models - and if so, thats fine by me.

I dont really see anything of interest in the fashions that appear at that site (whats in a name?), but the picture does show off the fact that Crystal has full thighs, so its a nice bit of size-positivism.

How you feel about the advertisement depends entirely on which version of the photo you see. There are two on the website in different sections; the one in the "Advertising" section shows less of Crystal's body than the one Melanie refers to, and it's not through a change in clothing coverage...

Two versions, one with normal proportions, the other digitally diminished? That is regrettable in the extreme. However, at least the more curvaceous version exists at all, rather than being entirely suppressed from public view. Let's hope that the better version is the one that the public will see at every opportunity, and that the distorted rendition is quickly forgotten.

For those who want a .jpg to keep for themselves, here is the non-reduced version (keeping in mind Melanie’s caution that it is slightly racy):
