Torrid has a new "Homecoming" feature on its site, and Michael Anthony has kindly sent us an outtake of the breathtaking Kelsey Olson from this shoot. Miss Olson is surely every young Prince Charming's dream date, and here she is in a terrific "action" pose, calling out to friends from the coach that is taking this fairy-tale princess to her ball.

One has to feel both envy and pity for the GQ whom she has given the incomparable honour of escorting her for the evening. After all, will anything in his life ever compare to the excitement of taking this angel to a Homecoming dance? He will surely treasure this exquisite memory for the rest of his days.

Here is another stunning image of Miss Olson in her cute polka-dot dress, from the Torrid cover page, showing her golden tresses glowing with their own ethereal light.

Even in this lifestyle candid, Kelsey--ever the model--is presenting a lively, bewitching expression, for the sake of that handheld camera.

Surely no students can possibly regret returning to the hallowed halls of academe today, if it affords them the opportunity to be in the presence of beauty such as this . . .
- Torrid--bringing fantasy to life

Wow! She looks so stunning as usual! My only gripe is that Torrid only has one picture of her in the whole homecoming section. Though she does look fantastic on the front page, it would have been nice to have a few more pics, or to have a scenario of the "style" with the girls, like they did for the back to school... and ESPECIALLY have some more of Kelsey! Good work, though. I especially like that photo in the out take!

Heres something that will make Kelsey fans faint. Torrid has released a Halloween preview, and all the images are of Kelsey!

Halloween has always been a big deal at Torrid, and the company produces many elaborate costumes for the occasion.

The best images are definitely the nurse costume (which looks so good on Kelseys curvy figure):

and the cute French maid outfit:

The outfits are a lot of fun! - perfect for a costume party. And I really have to hand it to Kelsey. Modelling costumes always runs the risk of turning into parody, but she really makes the images work. She manages to be playful and pretty, never over the top (or at least no more than the outfits warrant). Beautiful hair&makeup job too - just right for each outfit.
It seems highly appropriate to have these two themes blended together in the same thread--Homecoming and Hallowe'en. They compliment one another, showing Kelsey’s extraordinary range: from sweet to seductive, from angel to temptress.

The Hallowe'en outfits are whimsical, and might even be considered sexy, in a retro sort of way.

"Fantasy costumes" such as this are seasonal staples, and in lesser hands, could seem clichéd. But it is a tribute to Miss Olson's considerable talent (and the photographer's) that she does not model the outfits ironically, but authentically. She overcomes any trace of camp, and restores the mischievous thrill that such get-ups originally possessed.

The image showing the "Nurse" outfit is priceless. The business with the stethoscope is beguiling, and the kittenish look in the model's eyes is alluring, without being overly aggressive. Like Christina and Barbara, Kelsey has a natural softness in her facial features, which allows her to generate wilder expressions while still creating a beautiful effect rather than a harsh look. But above all, it is the model's shapely figure that makes the outfit attractive.

In today's ever-so-coarse culture, wardrobe like this might seem rather tame, but Kelsey's womanly curves make it interesting. On an androgynous model, the reaction to such costumes would be, "What's the point?" But on a Classical figure such as Kelsey's, the original frisson that such get-ups once generated is rediscovered.

For the "French Maid" ensemble, Kelsey fittingly adopts a more playful mien. The decolletage is just a tad daring, and the blouse is beautifully fitted around the midriff. To complete the effect, Ericka Ramirez (Torrid's MUA and hairstylist) has arranged Miss Olson's tresses in a sigh-inducting golden cascade down her shoulders. Before the sight of such beauty, even a king would become a servant, and worship at the feet of so lovely a maid.

Trimming the "Officer" photo as a headshot produces an interesting effect. With her plump red liploss, dark sunglasses, blasé expression, and the measured messiness of her hair, Kelsey here resembles an irresistibly spoiled Beverly Hills starlet (think Alicia Silverstone in Blast from the Past). She creates the persona of a voluptuous vixen who not only demands to be worshipped, but to be worshipped in a sufficiently original way, lest she become bored with her admirer. And who can blame her--when she has the world falling at her feet?

Hallowe'en allows everyone to become an actress, for one special evening.

And finally, although the cottontail outfit may be the "naughtiest" of the costumes (owing to a connotation of the headgear), if we consider it purely aesthetically, what we actually have here is a truly gorgeous image. Kelsey saves her steamiest look for this photograph, putting a more seductive spin on her signature vulnerable gaze. The dramatic eye makeup adds to the allure.

Viewers seeing this image will immediately associate it with "sex appeal," but they will also notice that the model is visibly curvaceous. The image could therefore completely reorient a viewer's notions of which qualities are truly seductive, and show them that plus-size features are the most seductive feminine attributes of all. Indeed, viewers may ultimately conclude that the model is not "curvaceous as well as gorgeous," but "gorgeous because she is curvaceous."

And they will remember this lesson even after All Hallows' Eve fades in the morning light . . .
