<br>Although readers on this side of the Atlantic will probably have never heard of him, Russell Brand is a well-known <i>"stand-up comedian and television personality"</i> in the United Kingdom, who is especially popular with Gen-X and -Y audiences.

Tomorrow (Tuesday September 12th), Mr. Brand has a new television show debuting on <strong><a href="http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/E/e4/index.html" target="_blank">E4</a></strong>, which is a digital station that is affiliated with Britain's Channel 4 (the network that broadcast Charlotte Coyle's beauty contest). Mr. Brand's program is titled <i><strong>Russell Brand's Got Issues</strong>,</i> and it is billed as <i>"a 30 min. live debate driven by Russell and based on a different topic of discussion each week."</i>

The E4 program listings describe the show as follows:<p><blockquote><i>Accompanied by key personalities, a live studio audience and witty correspondents, </i>Russell Brand's Got Issues<i> takes a comical view of various contentious, controversial and topical issues.</i></blockquote><p>Well, the topic of the first episode is said to be beauty and body-image, and you will <i>never guess</i> who one of the "key personalities" set to appear on Tuesday's program will be.

That's right. Take a deep breath . . . and try to remain calm . . . because according to a <i>very</i> good source . . . <strong>Charlotte Coyle</strong> will join Russell Brand on his premier episode!

You may be sure that if there is anyone left in England whose heart she has not yet captured with her ravishing beauty and charisma, they will become her ardent admirers after Tuesday.

The program is set to air at <strong>22:30</strong> (10:30 P.M.) for all of you British readers who are lucky enough to pull in E4, and will be repeated at <strong>03:10</strong> in the morning.

This is terribly exciting news. Every time Miss Coyle appears on television, she converts millions more viewers into advocates of size celebration. She shows them a manner of beauty that they never knew existed, because the media has never allowed them to see it. Beyond that, her charm, grace, wit, and intelligence unfailingly compel even the most skeptical individuals to regard her as a living goddess.

Tuesday at 22:30--set your DVD recorders, VHS machines, and digital vid-cap devices. The world will change a little more, and the rebirth of timeless beauty will be one step closer to reality . . .

One of Charlotte's Torrid masterpieces, showing her surrounded by admirers (in art, as in life):<p><center><img src="http://www.judgmentofparis.com/cc/charlotte22.jpg"></center><p>- <a href="http://www.judgmentofparis.com/video.htm">Charlotte's TV outings to date . . .</a>

I hope a video of this program will be available to those of us who don't live in Britain. I love hearing Charlotte's Irish accent!

This is so amazing!! Charlotte is single-handedly doing more to promote full-figured femininity in Britain than all the plus-size fashion retailers put together. I'm so jealous of the English, who get to see all of her TV appearances live on big-screen televisions. I wish we could get these channels in North America. I KNOW Charlotte will do an amazing job on behalf of all voluptuous vixens. She always does. She has that great way of standing up for curvy women, but with a gentle touch, without being pushy about it. And all it takes is for TV audiences to see her, to believe in timeless beauty right away.

I read that this Russell Brand fellow has been "romantically linked to Kate Moss". I'm betting that after he has Charlotte on his show, he'll never find a minus-size model attractive again!

Go Charlotte! I hope she knows that every curvy girl and admirer of plus-size beauty is rooting for her success...

<br>The search for a video of the debut episode of <i>Russell Brand's Got Issues</i> continues, but for now, a reader has sent in a few screen captures that she found online, showing Charlotte conversing with Mr. Brand during the show.

For this appearance, Charlotte looked curvy and gorgeous in a beautifully fitted dress that "was actually vintage below the knee." What a shame that the camera didn't catch Miss Coyle standing (or better yet, give her a chance to do a model's turn in her outfit). She always looks chic and stylish in her every TV appearance.<p><center><img src="http://www.judgmentofparis.com/cc/rb01.jpg"></center><p>If only one knew what pleasantries were being exchanged here! The host practically seems to be serenading Charlotte . . .<p><center><img src="http://www.judgmentofparis.com/cc/rb02.jpg"></center><p>. . . or, at the very least, he is clearly hanging on her every word.<p><center><img src="http://www.judgmentofparis.com/cc/rb03.jpg"></center><p>It's a shame that the program was only a half-hour in length. Nevertheless, with her wit and beauty, Miss Coyle never fails to make an impression--and she clearly did in this case as well.<p><center><img src="http://www.judgmentofparis.com/cc/rb04.jpg"></center><p>It's such a thrill to know that Charlotte is right there, on network television, promoting plus-size beauty to a nationwide audience, both in words and in images. Her every single media appearance advances size celebration a step further. We earnestly hope that her star continues to rise, restoring timeless beauty to the modern world.

Charlotte looks so curvaceous, so gorgeous in those captures. I wish she would appear on TV here in North America, or in more fashion campaigns.

Last weekend, the Sunday Life magazine had a feature about some of the fashion industry's most exciting up-and-coming models,

http://www.sundaylife.co.uk/news/story.jsp?story=704837

and guess what? Right there among the usual waifs, Charlotte Coyle earned a mention! -

One of Ulster's newest rising stars comes in the form of Londonderry's Charlotte Coyle, proving you don't need to have a figure like Kate Moss to make it big in modelling.

Last month, the size 18 model made a programme with Channel 4 where she organised and hosted a 'Beauty Contest'

The 24-year-old hit the big time in the US in 2002 in fashion campaigns for larger ladies, including a 20ft billboard poster in the heart of New York City.

It's a short comment - but hey, anything that helps the public become aware of plus-size beauty is marvellous. I'll bet the print version even had a picture. I wish I could have seen a copy!

Its a couple of weeks old, but just today I found a new article about Charlotte, from Belfast Today. It announces her then-forthcoming Russell Brand appearance, but even better, it suggests that she might be coming to the U.S. before Christmas to do some modelling work in America!

I really hope that happens. It would be AMAZING to see a new Charlotte Coyle campaign! That would be the modelling event of the year...

Charlotte cuts a dash as jetsetting model

08 September 2006

Singer Courtney Love and supermodel Kate Moss have both been seen out and about with Channel 4 comedian Russell Brand.

Now Londonderry plus-size model Charlotte Coyle will be seen beside him next Monday on the first TV episode of the Russell Brand Show.

Charlotte, from Londonderry's Academy Road, is hoping that the appearance on the loudish funnyman's new show will lead to more modelling work for her.

"I'm really hoping to get back to America for a month before Christmas and do some work there. I always had loads of work when I was over there."

"I'm also hoping to do more in London after the Russell Brand Show," she said.

Charlotte first hit the road to modelling fame just four months after arriving in the United States. The Londonderry girl spotted a plus-size modelling competition while surfing the net one day. Then a size 18 she turned up at the Park Avenue, Manhattan, offices of the agency running the competition.

She recalled later: "I told them I loved fashion, art, anything creative and glamour and that it was my dream job. All of it was true, the idea of wearing gorgeous dresses and flying around on assignment is my idea of the good life."

The next day they sent her to her first photoshoot in Central Park. "My first time behind the camera was a revelation. I was totally myself, relaxed and utterly confident. The agency loved the pictures and I was soon doing shoots all over the US, staying in five-star hotels and being driven around in a limo. I was living my dream."

"I'm a very different girl now. I'm happy with who I am and my body. I don't diet any more, instead I eat well..." said Charlotte, who said she's realised that ladies "can be sexy and beautiful no matter what your size."

Charlotte, 24, certainly cuts quite a dash, standing at 5ft 10 ins, she has golden hair and aquamarine eyes.
