Big thank you

I found this site several months ago and I have to say that it has totally changed my views. Not only of myself, but for all women. This is truly an inspiring site which I now visit every day to gain more and more confidence.

I am currently full-figured at 5'8" and was honestly considering cancelling my cruise vacation because in the last four years (after getting married) I went from a size 6 to my current weight.

After seeing the beautiful and confident images of the women on this site I went right out a bought a new bathing suit!

I just had to reply to this message because it voices an experience I can sympathize with. I'm 5'7", and I've always had a curvaceous build. That's not exactly the trend nowadays, and as a young adult (19), I have to say that growing up with the skeletal "ideal" has been damaging. I've struggled with disordered eating and extremely low self-esteem (not to mention poor body image). The strange thing is, I never thought those stick-girls were very aesthetically pleasing, but I thought I was just crazy and alone in that sentiment. Finding this website and the modern-day celebration of classical beauty has done more for me than I will ever be able to express. I truly cannot voice my gratitude enough; Corwin hit the positive nature of this website dead-on.

And Corwin, congratulations! I know how hard it is to fight with your image every day, and I applaud your ability to realize that there's nothing about you that really needs to be fought.

I would never want to be smaller than a 16, because for me, that would be too small. I've come to accept and appreciate that I am a full figured woman.
