Andrea Horblitt during NYFW (video)
Here's a charming video that I found recently. I remember Andrea Horblitt from her lovely Figure magazine editorial. Apparently she was out and about during New York Fashion Week. A 'blogger shot a brief video of her during one of the fashion-week events. It's always a pleasure to experience what a model sounds like, apart from her still photos.
I didn't know that she was now with Model Service Agency (Goddess division). I wish her every success.

Thanks to her unique and lovely look, Andrea has always had an avid fan following. Currently a size 14/16, she recently shot a marvellous test that dramatically showcases her attractiveness.
The wavy, feathered hairstyle in this headshot, one of the prettiest styles we have ever seen, marvellously augments her appeal. Big hairstyles of every sort, from opulent Gibsons of the Edwardian era, to '70s feathering, to '80s updos, are perfectly suited for plus-size goddesses, as the volume harmonizes with the models' visible fullness. The lighting catches Andrea's fair eyes and gives them a vivid radiance.
In this image, Andrea adopts a sweeter look, but still invigorates her smile with a suggestion of mischief. The hair scarf is always a winning touch, and the sight of her golden tresses falling over her shoulders is magical.
In response to an earnest request for a swimwear photo, Andrea has provided the following delightfully coy image, which manages to be modest and boldly sensual at the same time. In one sense, it teasingly hides the figure; in another sense, it offers a discreet glimpse of the model's curves. The attire evokes collegiate life, with all of its near-indiscretions, making it easy to imagine Andrea as the most beautiful girl in the dorm, the one whom every male student desires from afar. Notice the bright-red lip colour, which suggests that the image is rather more artful than the model lets on, that her nonchalance is a flirtatious ploy, and that she delights in seeing how overcome the viewer is by the sight of her beauty.
Fans of Miss Horblitt may also wish to know that she is currently in the process of launching a general-interest Web log called "Need Want Love" (www.needwantlove.com). The name is quite clever, as it can be taken both in the sense of someone who "needs love . . . wants love . . . and absolutely must have love," and in the sense that Andrea intends it--i.e., as a three-part list: needs, wants, and loves.
Upon seeing these mesmerizing images, many of her admirers will conclude that they "need...want...Andrea."
Re: Andrea Horblitt during NYFW (video)
Earlier today, we were honoured to be one of the people to whom dazzling plus-size model Andrea Horblitt (MSA Models, size 14) sent out her annual Yuletide greeting--and never in our lives have we seen such a beautiful Christmas card.
The image is a tease from a new Andrea photoshoot, and if this picture is any indication, it will be a spectacular test indeed. The model's blonde tresses look wild and voluptuous, making the viewer long for tactile engagement. The sight of a stray lock falling over her eye is an overwhelmingly sensual touch. Her expression is one of pure joy. She possesses a doll-like beauty, but not that of a timid or mild marionette, but an exuberant and unrestrained vixen--a "good girl," to be sure, but one who enjoys everything that life has to offer and still needs and wants more. An intoxicating minx who has been blessed with the richest of gifts, from extraordinary beauty to an irresistibly sweet disposition, she is beloved by all who know her, or gaze just once upon her, or simply hear whispers of her enchanting loveliness.
The card coyly wishes for all of its readers to "get everything they need, want, and love"--a play on the model's Web site, needwantlove.com. But of course, one look at this picture will convince every viewer that what they need, and want, and love more than anything else is this enchanting young beauty herself.
We, in turn, wish Miss Horblitt all the best of the season. 2011 surely will be a "beautiful" new year indeed, just as the card fortells--so long as it has Andrea in it.
