The Beaux-Arts Wedding of Jenn Purviance
Fans who recently viewed the brief YouTube video that showed lovely plus-size model Jenn Purviance (size 18) fretting over finding a dress for her forthcoming wedding will be delighted to see that in the end, Jenn selected a stunning gown that bared her soft, full arms and embraced her rounded middle and opulent, 53" hips.
Professionally shot by Brianna Noelle (www.briannanoellephotography.com)--a California-based photographer who has previously achieved stellar results when testing Jenn--the wedding took place in one of the finest Beaux-Arts buildings in the United States, the magnificent San Francisco City Hall, with its famous dome inspired by Les Invalides in Paris.
The interior of the building is just as spectacular as is the exterior, featuring a grand rotunda and pillars reminiscent of St. Peter's in Rome.
Indeed, the dome so much captured Jenn's fancy that even on her wedding day, she couldn't resist taking a snapshot of the interior.
The Beaux Arts style of architecture, of which this building is a standout example, blends elements of the Baroque, Rococo, and Classical modes to create a veritable synthesis of Western aesthetic history, enhanced in scale and ornateness for the tastes of the 19th century.
And no plus-size model could more harmoniously blend into this environment than the luscious Jenn Purviance, whose own opulent physique matches the lavish beauty of the Beaux-Arts interior, as seen in her spectacular cover for Pretty Pear Bride magazine. Both Jenn herself and this sumptuous environment embody the Classical ideal at its richest and finest.
To see the majority of Jenn's Pretty Pear Bride layout, one needs to purchase a copy of the Summer 2014 issue of the magazine (either in print or digital form), but the following free preview image offers a tantalizing hint of the splendour of the editorial. Observe how heavily buxom the model appears, as her magnificent, dark tresses cascade between her voluptuous contours, while she lies supine and sensually indolent on the smooth marble.
Although the previously posted Pretty Pear Bride cover image is far superior to the following, unused version, this cover too has its charm. Jenn's confident stance boldly showcases the seductive expanse of her hips. The intricate metalwork of the wrought-iron staircase harmonizes perfectly with the finely detailed lace in Jenn's dress, which offers a discreet view of the model's cleavage; both the metal and the fabric exemplify Old World craftsmaship at its finest. The lamp in the background is similarly ornate, adding another rich element that corresponds to the wealth of flesh in the model's figure.
A closer view highlights that most sensual of all facial features, a pretty curve under the model's chin, and celebrates the irresistible fullness of the model's soft arms.
Although the lion's share of Jenn's wedding photographs only appear in Pretty Pear Bride, photographer Brianna Noelle has publicly shared several of the images online, including this adorable picture of the model with her daughter:
Of all of the photographs in the series, Jenn's finest expression appears in the following portrait of the new family. The model's gaze is dark and steamy, with a mysterious seductiveness that belies her angelic wedding attire; this is Scarlett O'Hara at her most sinfully alluring. Note the appealing swell of fullness at her middle.
Proceeding from sensuality to levity, here is the new couple in a playful moment, with Jenn drawing attention to the building's vast canopy of stone,, even as her pose shows off her buxom curves.
In a more passionate shot, the newlyweds look as if they are about to swing into a tango. Jenn's wild, raven tresses rival the golden mane of Sophie Sheppard in romantic captivation.
A final "You may kiss the bride" picture is notable in showing off the model's generous reverse-view curves (so lovingly defined by her body-adoring gown), her soft, full arms, and her ample voluptuousness.
This stellar bridal editorial, featuring a model so attractive and well-fed, in a locale so breathtaking and majestic, intimates the kind of aesthetically superior world in which we would be living today, the beautiful environment that would exist all around us, every moment of our lives, if the forces of resentment hadn't smashed the millennia-old Beauty ideal of Western civilization early in the 20th century and seized control of our culture, holding it in their death-grip even to the present day.
Re: The Beaux-Arts Wedding of Jenn Purviance
Jenn looks so ripe and beautiful in those pictures! These are some of the most beautiful wedding photos I've ever seen.
This is more like what royal weddings these days should be like, with brides at least as beautiful as Jenn becoming dreamy princesses and regally beautiful queens.
