Tracie Stern in Italy
On Friday, we bid a fond farewell to Tracie Stern, who is moving to Italy with her family for three years. Tracie will be signed with Brigitte Models in Munich, with Elena Miro's own "Ciao, Magre" modelling agency, and will continue to be represented by Dorothy Combs Models in Miami. We have no doubt that she will turn up in the pages of any number of continental catalogues and flyers.
Fans of the model can reportedly look forward to seeing her in the soon-to-be-released fall campaign from Alfred Angelo.
We wish Tracie all the best during her overseas sojourn. Who can deny enyving her the opportunity to live in the most size-positive nation in the Western world, where she will be only a train ride away from the world's greatest castles, cathedrals, and museums?
Bon voyage, Tracie!
Re: Tracie Stern in Italy
Tracie has now been abroad for several months, and it may be worth taking a few moments to give fans an update on her progress.
Some of Tracie's work for Alfred Angelo has just turned up on the company's Web site, and naturally, she looks simply gorgeous. Her size-14 figure visibly agrees with her; and of course, plus-size goddesses were born to wear bridal fashions. Here we see her modelling the most becoming of all styles for bountiful brides--strapless, and sleeveless:
The rest of the images at the Alfred Angelo site are also well worth a look. Sporting longer golden tresses than is usual for her, Tracie looks especially radiant in this promotion.
And now for something completely different . . .
How wonderful that Tracie has acclimatized herself to life in Italy so well. All of us here at the Judgment of Paris wish her, and her family, a very Merry Christmas, and much success in the New Year.
Re: Tracie Stern in Italy
Once again HSG, your poetic words never cease to amaze me. I want to say Thank you and Happy Holidays to you and your many readers, I also want to add Congratulations for holding on to what you believe in for the past 7 years. The Plus Size modeling world is a far better place because you have made the commitment to it.
I also want to thank the fans, the wonderful, outspoken and opinionated fans, for also standing up for what they believe in and not listening to what the fashion industry deems as beautiful. It's because of all of you that our industry has lasted so long and changed so much.
MAY YOU ALL HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON AND A BLESSED NEW YEAR!!!!
