Chloe Agnew, Classical ''Celtic Woman''

I was watching PBS the other night and saw a concert by a musical group known as “Celtic Woman”. The concert was taped at the Slane Castle, in Meath, Ireland. While the old world charm of the breathtaking castle and the smooth ancient sounds of the traditional Celtic music were enough to make this a worthwhile watch, one element made it especially memorable: Chloe Agnew, one of the five women who make up the group, has the proportions of a classic feminine beauty.

As you can see she has angelic, round facial features to match her goddess-like frame.

Chloe has a very active fan-base in her native Ireland and has been branching out in the world wide market. She has a classical shape that matches her angelic voice. In this image, she is on the left:

Hopefully we will see (and hear) more from this young Celtic Beauty in the future.

You can visit a fan site for Chloe at www.chloeagnew.net,

or go to the Celtic Woman website at www.celticwoman.com.

Re: Chloe Agnew

Thank you for introducing this amazing talent. Chloe Agnew is by far one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen. She is as gorgeous as any plus-size model. She's like a mixture of Charlotte Coyle and Lillian Russell- timeless beauty personified.

And an Irish girl, again! It's remarkably true that Irish girls tend to be classical beauties. Charlotte Coyle, Kailee O'Sullivan, Shannon Marie (the greatest of them all), and now Chloe Agnew. Just as the straight-size industry gets most of its young talent from Eastern Europe, I think the plus-size agencies should just scour Ireland, to find all of their future stars.

YouTube has a few Celtic Woman videos, but many of them are posted at the wrong aspect ratio (16:9 pictures squeezed into a 4:3 frame, which creates an unsightly vertical "stretching" effect). But I will try to embed one here which has the right proportions.

This is (obviously) from the group's Japanese tour, and it shows Chloe in a gorgeous strapless white dress, like the kind she is wearing in the third picture above.

You can see Chloe at 00'22, 01'38, and at 02'26 in the video, as well as towards the end.

She looks breathtaking. She also has by far the most beautiful singing voice of any member of her group.

The Celtic Woman site also has a short .mov interview with Chloe. The picture suffers from the compressed aspect ratio problem, like many of the YouTube videos do, but the picture is very clear, so it provides a good sense of Chloe's soft, fair beauty.

I think she would make an ideal plussize model, in addition to her singing career. Wouldnt it be wonderful if some forward-thinking retailer actually featured her in a "celebrity" promotion? The plussize companies are always looking for full-figured celebrities, but such celebrities are few and far between. I can think of one or two cases where companies have shot promos with curvier recording artists, but the difference is that if they featured Chloe, they would be getting someone who can really sing - and she sings beautiful songs, not modern trash.

The Celtic Woman site has, among other things, a "diary entry" from Chloe:

I take this comment as a hint that she is comfortable with her figure, even enjoys being curvy (which is wonderful)! Chloe writes:
"We then began recording for our new Christmas album... We had a huge Christmas tree and decorations around the studio just to get everyone in the Christmassy spirit! And I think there were some mince pies too....But not really sure where they disappeared to!!!! :-)"
A nice thought for the holidays. I think with her looks, her talent, and her self-assurance, she could be an amazing inspiration to curvier girls.

I managed to catch the Slane Castle performance and I'm glad I did: Chloe looked absolutely stunning! I especially loved her opening dress (hang whoever said plus-size ladies shouldn't wear all white!) she looked angelic and ethereal, the look enhanced by her long golden hair.

She is an angel! I have looked up more clips from the youtube archive. The music is among the most beautiful I ever heard, and I am really picky. I have had the song "You raise me up" on repeat for several days now.
