From yesterday's issue of The Mirror,
here's a surprisingly pro-plus (and truthful) article revealing "15 things you never knew men find sexy"
Note the following two in particular. The terminology isn't as positive as it should be, but the observations are accurate:
2 WE'VE all craved abs like Geri Halliwell's but men actually find a potbelly attractive. Mo says: "Men like women to feel soft and curvy, so a little potbelly can be a turn-on and give a woman that natural look...
15 YOU might think skinny jeans are impossible to wear without getting that tell-tale roll of flab over the waistband. But, according to Paula, men think a little muffin top is cute.
"The curvy shape is synonymous with fertility so the soft fleshiness is tapping directly into his unconscious evolutionary desires."
The truth comes out! Yes, full waists and generous curves are frankly irresistible. This is not a marginal but a mainstream preference - albeit an under-acknowledged one.
The linked article is a rare example of an organ of the media actually "getting it" - i.e., admitting that the fullness of a woman's figure, a figure exhibiting all manner of curves (not just media-sanctioned curves, but the many soft curves of plus-size beauty), is a considerable turn-on for most men.
