I just have to mention that that is one of the most beautiful paintings I've ever seen. It's a bit risqué (but no more than any Renaissance nude), but still tasteful. It reminds me of a flower opening. With her fair features, flowing blonde hair, and soft physique, she seems to have been painted expressly to illustrate this post, or to embody what a Ginevra Fanshawe or a Georgiana Reed were meant to look like. The word I think of when I look at her is "blossoming." Blossoming in every sense.
I dearly wish that plus-size fashion and plus-size modelling could bring back this gorgeous ideal of beauty.
