Heater Shantora is a size-14 goddess with Ford Toronto/Miami who well deserves greater industry recognition. Last summer, she attracted considerable attention with an absolutely stunning Jai Bridals ad, which accompanied an important
thread on this forum. Many consider that particular ad to be one of the most enchanting plus-size bridal images ever created.
The aforementioned thread also included a link to Heather's lovely
Ford video, which, although it suffers from unremarkable styling, does show off the model's gorgeously round facial features, and captivating expressions.

And now, we are pleased to note Ms. Shantora's appearance in a brand-new promotion for Cotton Ginny Plus (www.cottonginny.ca). The ad celebrates Heather's curvaceous figure, shapely arms, and charismatic demeanour.

This image is a particular triumph for Cotton Ginny, a company that once featured some of the most attractive plus-size advertising in Canada. Its campaigns in the mid-1990s starred goddesses such as Emme and Amy Poland--the model whose work directly inspired the creation of this Web project. In subsequent years, however, Cotton Ginny Plus resorted to highly unpopular campaigns featuring faux-plus models, which in turn led to a sales slump, and eventually forced the company into bankruptcy.
However, unlike the August Max Woman chain--which also went under due to unpopular faux-plus advertising--a few Cotton Ginny stores survived the company's implosion. This ad marks the first time in years that Cotton Ginny has featured a professional plus-size model in its promotions, and frankly, they couldn't have selected a better representative.
We hope to see more of Ms. Shantora in the near future.

And we also hope to see Cotton Ginny regain its former status as one of the most size-celebratory retailers in Canadian fashion.
