Default Barbara: C.J. Banks's holiday season

At last, the winter/holiday campaigns are beginning to emerge. C.J. Banks is out early with its new campaign, and it's wonderful to see Barbara taking center stage:

I think last season's cover, in front of the roaring fire, will never be topped as a perfect Christmas image, but this season's photos are beautiful as well.

It would be worth coming home for the holidays - if such a vision of beauty were awaiting you on your return...

I just received an e-mail promo with these images yesterday:

I like the terms used to describe the pictures: "cozy," "elegant," "comfort." Barbara always evokes these feelings in her images.

The main picture is definitely the warmest, and suggests the models curves. The C.J.Banks campaigns are always quite pretty, and I just wish the company would build a more elaborate web site, which would better showcase their campaigns.

C.J. Banks has just added a number of new images for its Holiday 2006 campaign. I rather liked the previous cover, as reflected in Melanie's post, but this e-mail circular showed up in my Inbox a moment ago, and it's a fun seasonal image:

Barbara has that bewitching glint in her eyes that says to all her admirers, "We both know that I'm the gift you're really been wishing for!" Her images are always the best Christmas presents of all.

C.J. Banks put out another cute mailer today, with an endearing picture of Barbara:

This company has a wonderful way of capturing the spirit of the Christmas season...

Here's one more pretty C.J. Banks ad this season, featuring Barbara:

The clothing is simple, but Barbara looks ravishing, as always. The picture even betrays a hint of an attractively curvy waist.

I hope all of this company's customers (and indeed, all full-figured women) really let themselves enjoy the holidays, and put all thoughts of self-deprivation aside - indefinitely!

When I look at this thread, all I can think of is how wonderful our society would be if it featured timeless beauties such as Barbara on billboards, and in advertising generally, rather than the waifs who appear there now.

It's also been a marvellous Christmas-themed thread.

I received one more C.J. Banks circular in my inbox today that I can share here:

Doesn't Barbara look adorable in this picture? I love the little trace of wickedness in her smiling feline eyes. Christmas can be a bittersweet time, with a mixture of happiness for the season's festivities mixed with sadness over the absence of departed loved ones, but this picture warms my heart as surely as a blazing hearth.

From the wit and wisdom that I've seen Barbara express in her interviews, and in her "She is Alive" song lyrics, I have no doubt that her Christmas correspondence would be magical indeed.
