Default Hayley Boag: Glamour Plus


From the moment that her first bridal images appeared on this site, Australian plus-size goddess Hayley Boag, size 16/18, has been wildly popular with Judgment of Paris readers as a gorgeous and visibly full-figured model.

Subsequent threads showcasing the model's official campaign for Sweet Hearts Bridal, as well as her first video for Glamour Plus (both brands being part of the Roz la Kelin label), were enthusiastically received.

Fans of Miss Boag are now in for a particular treat, as Glamour Plus has debuted its new collection for 2012, with Hayley as the face (and figure) of the line. And the results are some of the most captivating images of timeless beauty that the plus-size fashion industry has ever produced.

The cover of the new Glamour Plus catalogue appears in rotation on the Roz La Kelin home page, and it absolutely takes one's breath away. In a verdant woodland setting, Hayley stands alongside an ancient tree so majestic and colossal that it surely dates back to the beginnings of the world, a primordial survivor from the antediluvian ages when giants walked the earth. This visual is worthy of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, with the sublime majesty of the tree complementing the lush beauty of the model.

The banner of the Glamour Plus Facebook page offers a close-up of this dreamlike image, showcasing the opulent fleshiness of the model's shapely arm. There can hardly be any visual in all creation as beguiling as this image of Hayley. Her weighty limbs are alluringly full, luxuriously so, exhibiting a sensual heaviness, yet an equally seductive appearance of softness. The gorgeous form of Hayley's arms is due entirely to the natural shaping powers of self-indulgence, creating limbs of rich, teeming fleshiness, free of any unfeminine muscle tone.

Bridal campaigns are invariably the loveliest of all shoots that plus-size models produce, as the gowns, with their traditional designs, are tailor-made to showcase full-figured femininity. In this, the prettiest image of the Glamour Plus catalogue, the wrap style of the dress lovingly embraces Hayley's sumptuous figure, while the deep V offers a heady glimpse of her generous décolletage. The sleeveless style bares her full, rounded arms, and the floral embellishments at the shoulders are an enchanting touch. Hayley's golden tresses cascade softly around her face in golden waves, while her expression exudes a gentle sweetness that is utterly irresistible. The fact that the model holds a bouquet in her hands is an adorable touch, the flowers adding to her girlish prettiness, yet note also the delicate, graceful way in which she holds her other hand--an example of fine modelling technique.

What also makes this campaign so exquisitely beautiful is the setting. Locations are every bit as important as wardrobe when it comes to the success of a model's images, and in this case (as the model herself informs us) the Glamour Plus team shot the catalogue in the Sydney Botanical Gardens, which are just behind the city's renowned Opera House. The setting is absolutely a slice of heaven, an Arcadian dreamscape in which the rich verdure of the grounds complements the model's own luscious appearance to create a harmonious presentation of natural beauty.

Miss Boag's gorgeous arms are even more fully displayed in this stunning image. The gown is regal and magnificent, betokening an opulence that suits the model's own lavish, generously indulged appearance. With her robust, Rubenesque features, Hayley convincingly creates the persona of a pampered princess, a goddess who treats herself to the best of everything, who denies herself no pleasures and satisfies her every want, from the most aristocratic of wedding gowns to the choicest delicacies.

"Beauty in full bloom" would be the perfect caption for this image. Observe how plump and heavy the roses appear, as if they had been more richly nourished than any other roses, and now exhibit a more lavish opulence than any other flowers in the garden--just as Hayley herself is the curviest and loveliest of Australian models. Observe the thick weightiness of her golden tresses, which flow languidly down her back in a curtain of gold. The elegant stone pillars along either side of Hayley, and the idyllic dreamworld that stretches off behind her, presents this as a gateway to paradise, with the model herself, given her transcendental beauty, being the physical incarnation of heavenly bliss.

In this image, Hayley's tresses exhibit a slightly different arrangement, every bit as attractive, cascading over her shoulder and drawing the viewer's eye downward to trace the round fullness of her arms. The wrap style of the gown holds her body in a loving embrace and bares a lovely expanse of bare flesh at her neck and shoulders. Her smile is as fresh as springtime.

For the reverse-view image, Miss Boag adopts an over-the-shoulder look that pays homage to the most famous image of plus-size model Shannon Marie, whom Hayley favours to a certain degree. Her hand position subconsciously draws attention to her shapely hinder contours. Observe the seductive curves of flesh along her bare back and that most sensual of all physical details, the dimples at the models' knuckles. In this case, the background is less of a classical garden and more of a sylvan woodland; thus, appropriately, the violet roses are fewer while the flowers on display exhibit more bucolic hues of green and white.

Given the goddesslike beauty of her long, fair tresses, fans naturally prefer images in which Hayley's hair flows freely, exhibiting its voluptuous volume. However, the following image is nevertheless highly eye catching, in that it offers the clearest display of her sensually luscious arms, as plump and soft as those of a newborn. (Not coincidentally, Hayley models the same dress in this photograph that she does in the cover image which opens this thread.) The sweetheart neckline of the gown, with its body-conforming ruching, seductively displays her buxom voluptuousness.

The background greatly enriches the dramatic impact of the images, with the benches and pillars stretching off into the distance, creating a fascinating effect of perspective, such as one might see in a Renaissance painting. The roses, on the left, add a dose of glamour and opulence, while the wilder white blossoms to the right inject an element of delicate femininity. The model's opulent chandelier earring is the crowning touch, a splendid styling element that takes advantage of her voluminous updo.

Another change of scenery finds Miss Boag alongside a secluded walkway in the botanical gardens. Her tresses appear especially fair and light in this image--truly the golden locks of a princess--while her facial features are full and round. Her forearms exhibit soft, sensual fleshiness. Notice how organic the stonework wall appears, just as the masonry of medieval castles fits organically into the landscape, as if the foundations had grown from the living rock. The weathered, historic quality of the setting suits the gown, which, with its ornate embroidery, has a vintage look about it. All in all, this picture is a splendid display of ideal Victorian beauty.

Hayley's pose in this reverse-view image is stunning, creating the impression that she has just unbound her tresses and shaken them loose, so that they tumble down her bare back. The sensual sight of the model's plump flesh escaping over the edge of her dress is rivalled in seductive allure by the round fullness of her arms. While the full-blooming flora was surely placed in location by the photographic team, the effect that it creates is magical, generating a subconscious impression that wherever Hayley is found, opulent flowers spontaneously appear as a natural tribute to her loveliness.

A final pair of images from the new Glamour Plus catalogue find Hayley once more framed by a pair of noble stone pillars, with an enchanting garden area stretching out behind her. The wrap design of the gown defines the model's womanly curves, while the neckline acknowledges her buxom décolletage.

In the deepest dreams that most men nurse in their hearts, they imagine a bride looking exactly like Miss Boag--robust and well-fed, with fair skin, voluminous golden hair, and a gentle, passive, yet vibrant demeanour. Hayley perfectly incarnates the archetypal ideal bride on her wedding day, with the whole world outfitted in verdant beauty to celebrate her happiness.

Bravo to Glamour Plus for creating such an intoxicating campaign, a beguiling visual feast in which the loveliness of the wardrobe, the model, and the setting blends together most agreeably to create a harmonious presentation of timeless beauty.

And special congratulations to stunning Hayley Boag, whose goddesslike facial features and abundantly curvaceous physique make her an ideal plus-size model, both gorgeous and genuinely full-figured.

The entire plus-size industry, not just bridal lines but every brand, every label, should look to this campaign to see an example of a perfect presentation of full-figured fashion.

Furthermore, every one of us, trapped as we are in the beauty-denying, cultural-Marxist dystopia of the modern world, can gaze upon these images and imagine a better reality--a reality in which full-figured femininity is recognized as ideal, and in which organic harmony supersedes modernist urban blight--a world such as once existed, a century ago (and for ages prior to that), and can exist once more, with but an application of human will.

So many of the most captivating developments in plus-size beauty now seem to be emanating from Australia.

Glamour Plus has just released a film of its 2012 shoot with luscious plus-size model Hayley Boag, and the result is one of the most gorgeous fashion videos I've ever seen.

The Sydney Botanical Gardens, where the images were shot, look like paradise on earth, and Hayley resembles an angel in a Rubens painting. So appears so curvaceous, so full-figured in her breathtaking gowns, that I thought my heart would melt.





The slow-motion camera work creates a dreamy effect. The music is delicate and sweet. It really is a mesmerizing video. Best of all, Hayley looks even curvier in the footage than she does in her still photos.

Also, it's fascinating to hear designer Roz la Kelin's thinking behind the creation of this collection and to learn about her approach to design.

This is absolute perfection, the epitome of timeless beauty in every detail: the model, the dresses, the setting, everything. Breathtaking.

The Glamour Plus video is a truly remarkable presentation of plus-size beauty, showcasing the luscious voluptuousness of Miss Boag in an unforgettable manner.

The video intercuts between a number of captivating settings, employing at least two different camera crews, one adopting a more formal, elegant style, the other catching hand-held, behind-the-scenes footage.

The latter team, the hand-held crew, shot these enchanting glimpses of Hayley being photographed under the canopy of a gazebo at the Sydney Botanical Gardens.

Observe how, just by shifting the camera placement, the crew was able to capture Hayley with an entirely different backdrop. The previous garden scene was more formal and elegant, while this shows a more rugged, natural scene.

Hayley, for her part, looks breathtakingly gorgeous in her Glamour Plus gowns. This strapless, sleeveless design--the ideal cut for plus-size goddesses--shows off her buxom curves and full, shapely arms.

Notice how the film stock changes in the formal footage that the video contains. Whereas the previous shots were taken in a hand-held, behind-the-scenes manner, the sequences depicted in the following screen caps show careful, elegant camera movement and a picture quality that approximates feature-film quality.

This still is excerpted from a dramatic sequence in which Hayley is seen walking--one could almost say gliding--toward the camera, her golden tresses glowing in the reflected light. With her soft, full arms and generous décolletage bared by this ultra-feminine gown, this may be the finest portion of the video.

The flowers that the crew added to the gazebo add just the right touch of colour to enliven the composition, which otherwise shows natural greens and earth tones providing the backdrop for the pure white of the gowns.

Another especially captivating sequence shows the model from behind, looking at the gardens stretching out before her, then turning to favour the viewer with a warm, inviting glance.

Another, similar sequence includes a more general view of Hayley's reverse-view curves. Notice the enchanting beauty of the green carpet-like approach to the gazebo, which stretches off in the background, ending in a lovely copse of picturesque trees.

This profile view takes advantage of Miss Boag's most alluring assets: her voluptuousness, her rounded arms, her full facial features, and her golden tresses flowing down her back. The downward-looking "modest model," pose is highly becoming . . .

Some of the most romantic scenes in the video show Miss Boag walking through various parts of the Sydney Botanical Gardens, as if she were lost in reverie. The pretty, classical fountain provides captivating visual interest.

The lush, subtropical flowers offer a harmonious complement to Hayley's well-fed beauty. Both the sumptuously proportioned model and the full-blooming flowers exemplify the richest splendours of the natural world.

Zooming in on Hayley in this setting provides a better look at an especially attractive aspect of her strolling shots: the rich views that this footage provides of her plump, luscious arms.

Meanwhile, the behind-the-scenes team captured an image of the preparation of these out-in-the-garden images, showing that while the vision of Hayley strolling through the park, seemingly alone, is highly romantic, in fact an entire crew peopled the scene.

Nevertheless, the scenes of Hayley touring the grounds are magical. Here she passes by some exquisitely trimmed tiny hedges and plots of delicate pink blossoms, which seem to represent the model's girlish side. Her tresses are adorably feathered for this sequence.

Another shot finds her strolling under an open-air walkway, bordered by rows of white flowers, as if these were naturally growing bridal bouquets. Here the sensation is innocence, yet observe the sensual, untoned softness of Hayley's gorgeous arms.

On the other hand, this view of Miss Boag amid a profusion of red roses betokens her more passionate nature. Again, the sight of her luscious arms is intoxicating.

All that walking, slow and leisurely as it may have been, earns this alluringly indolent model a moment of rest and relaxation. This image finds her again with her enticingly feathered hairstyle, for which her tresses appear soft and lighter than air. Her facial features are full and replete. Her expression is serene, yet deeply thoughtful.

The final sequence of the video sees Hayley exploring the wider grounds of the location, away from the closely manicured and domesticated gardens and into a more romantic, semi-wooded area. (Notice the statues in the distance.) This still finds her joined by the other model in the shoot, an attractive talent in her own right named Cassidy.

This close-up offers the video's finest depiction of the luscious curve under Hayley's chin, and exhibits the fleshiness of her lavish décolletage.

The final still in the video finds Hayley leaning against the magnificent tree that appears in the main cover image of the campaign, as seen in the initial post in this thread. Observe the effectiveness of the lighting, with the flowering bush at the right providing a radiant, natural bouquet, its flowers veritably glittering like the jewels of the model's earrings, contrasting richly with the darker verdure behind it and the shaded view of Hayley herself, in her magnificent gown.

Bravo to Roz la Kelin for shooting a truly outstanding video to accompany its 2012 bridal collection. This is easily one of the finest filmed expressions of plus-size beauty we have ever seen, an ideal combination comprising a gorgeous and genuinely full-figured model, ultra-feminine attire, and one of the most beautiful natural settings this side of heaven.

And congratulations to Miss Boag for retaining her opulently curvaceous physique. She is, without a doubt, the most beautiful model currently on the Australian continent, and one of the loveliest goddesses in the world.
