Default Delectable Anne Thornton

I very much enjoyed last year's introduction to the Food Network's most beautiful star, chef Anne Thornton, the host of Dessert First.

I found two more videos featuring Anne that I thought I'd share.

First, from October 2010, here's a segment originally posted at in which she shows how to make delicious Milk-Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffles. Her complexion is attractively fair, and her outfit shows off her buxom curves.

Next, with an even lovelier hairstyle, this video shows a segment from the Food Network's The Best Thing I Ever Ate program. It shows Anne enjoying a lasagna sandwich (what a marvellous idea!).

Anne Thornton is the corrective to the media's non-stop starvation-torture propaganda. I love her enthusiasm for the food. As others have said, she has the beauty of a plus-size model, with an attractive curve under the chin and round facial features that recall Sophie Dahl in her heyday. Seeing someone so lovely and curvy on TV truly enjoying food surely sends a wonderful message to young girls, showing them that they can eat whatever they like and still be successful and beautiful -- in fact more beautiful than their underweight rivals.

Anne was on the Nate Berkus show yesterday in two full, wonderful segments describing decadent treats that one can bake as part of winter entertaining. "Edible crafts," she cleverly called them.

The most mouth-watering element on the show, of course, was Anne herself. She looks curvier and more gorgeous than ever, with seductive roundness at the waist, defined by her rich ruby-red top. She looks even more seductive with her hair down rather than up, but nevertheless, it's a tantalizing clip.

Watch, as Anne leans forward, for heady glimpses of her décolletage at 3:45, 3:52, and 6:19, as well as a view of the luscious curve under her chin at 4:39.

The best line on the show, as Anne prepares her sinful treats, is her comment:

We could be on the treadmill, or we could be making these. I prefer to make these.

All curvy girls should feel so liberated in their figures, and have such an easygoing, natural relationship with food, that they should be able to express such pro-curvy sentiments.

For anyone who missed it, here's a video of gorgeous dessert chef Anne Thornton on The Nate Berkus Show yesterday.

Anne looks curvier and more beautiful than ever, though I prefer her look with her hair down. As others have said, it's subversive and wonderful to have such a gorgeous, curvy girl on TV enthusing about delectable desserts -- a perfect antidote to the starvation propaganda that the media otherwise inflicts on women 24/7.
