![]() Justine Legault is indisputably one of the most gorgeous plus-size models in the industry today, so every aficionado of timeless beauty will be thrilled to learn that she appears on the cover of the March 2010 issue of Clin d'oeil, which is Québec's premiere fashion magazine. Although Justine is situated amid a group of models, she nevertheless stands out from the rest, thanks to her superlative beauty. Her pale blue dress (so angelic) also draws the eye directly toward her, set as it is against the pink background, and contrasting with the other garments on the cover, in their reds and creams and whites. Although we do not yet possess a copy of the issue itself, we do have this reduced-size scan to share. ![]() The cut line, "S'accepter ou s'améliorer?" asks readers whether their impulse is to change themselves, or accept themselves. Acceptance is indeed the theme of the issue, and the magazine could not have delivered this message more effectively than by including the lovely Mademoiselle Legualt on its cover. Name: Justine Legault How wonderful to learn that Mlle Legualt's personal style is "bohemian-classic" (an ideal choice for a full-figured goddess). In all of her interviews, Justine comes across as very personable and likable. She is undoubtedly a dream to work with. ![]() Fans will be pleased to see that Justine is given by far the largest portion of screen time. ![]() The camera lingers over her enchanting facial features--doll-like in their soft roundness, but exhibiting a Gallic sophistication as well. ![]() It is the mixture of her babylike youthful qualities and her aristocratic elegance that gives Justine an utterly unique look. ![]() Of particular interesting to Francophones will be the fact that during the interview, Mlle Legault also discusses various topics related to size acceptance. ![]() But Justine's voluptuous beauty needs no translation, and is in and of itself the most persuasive argument in favour of the Classical ideal. ![]() As viewers may have noticed, Justine's figure is partially obscured in the image that Clin d'oeil ultimately chose for the cover; but these stills indicate how full-bodied and luscious she actually appears in her ultra-feminine dress. ![]() With her vain, alluring poses, the model clearly indicates her awareness that she is by far the most gorgeous girl at the shoot--precisely because of her well-fed figure. ![]() Without further ado, here is the exciting Clin d'oeil video. Watch for all of the lovely shots of Justine, and note that she is every bit as beautiful without a stitch of makeup, just sitting in the dressing chair in rollers, as she is once she has been fully glamourized for the shoot. Bravo to Clin d'Oeil for featuring such an attractive plus-size goddess on its cover. We hope that the magazine will continue to feature Justine in future issues. |

![]() How wonderful to see a plus-size model on the cover of a fashion magazine. What a pity that she's surrounded by a group of cadavers. She is by far the most beautiful of all of them, and in fact, puts the rest to shame.
I have one contribution of my own to make to this thread. I found an image of Justine at a swimwear site, modelling Kristina swim apparel. (There was a thread about Justine working for this line a while back.) Here's the image, and a link to the product page: ![]() http://www.swimsuitsjustforus.com/sch3083450.html Stunning beauty. |
