''The Art of Fashion in Motion''
As was the case with the acclaimed holiday collection from IGIGI, the most exciting aspect of the company's new "Art of Fashion in Motion" campaign is the stunning video that IGIGI has produced to accompany the shoot.
Gorgeous as the still photographs of the promotion have been, the video nevertheless yields countless captivating images which match or surpass the beauty of the campaign's stills. Therefore, it is well worth proceeding through the clip one screencap at a time, to unearth these priceless visual treasures.
The video commences with a breathtakingly beautiful, artistic visual of Kailee twirling in perpetual motion, in a free-flowing skirt, like a fabric-draped gyroscope. The sight of these pastel hues of gossamer fabric blending and coalescing is enchanting to behold. Only the barest outline of the model's legs and figure is visible; the visual thus takes on the qualities of impressionistic art--fittingly so, given the theme of the promotion.
The model's figure appears to be composed of coloured liquid coalescing into rounded shapes, exhibiting sensual suggestions of her swelling feminine curves. At one point, a gentle rain of rose petals falls around Kailee, this element presaging one of the most captivating visuals to appear later in the video, thus making this abstract introduction a kind of visual overture, introducing the themes that will appear throughout the rest of the footage.
The first clear sight of Kailee in the video couldn't be more dramatic. The voluptuous profusion of her tresses is one of the most gorgeous hairstyles that she, or any plus-size model, has ever worn, a captivating 'do that is wild and passionate yet elegant as well. Her rich necklace adds to the overall impression of opulence which this image generates. The red hue of her dress betokens a fittingly passionate nature. Her expression is deeply inward and reflective. Two assistants help to adorn her loveliness, adding to the impression of Kailee as a regal princess, with these being her faithful handmaidens.
While many of the visuals in the video reference art, in the sense of painting, Kailee herself also introduces elements of sculpture, as exemplified by this dramatic, stylized pose, evoking the forms of Classical statuary. The magnificent red dress hugs her womanly hips, its wrap design showcasing her heavy voluptuousness.
At this point, and at regular intervals throughout the video, the shoot footage intercuts with a fascinating interview with the model. Here too Kailee's tresses exhibit voluptuous volume, but of a heavier sort, draping over her shoulders with a regal look that nevertheless retains a touch of wild abandon.
Observe how the dramatic eye makeup makes Kailee's blue eyes stand out in a vivid fashion, mesmerizing the viewer with their intensity and beauty.
The primary point of interest in the interview footage is surely to admire the round perfection of Kailee's face, and in particular, to glimpse that most sensual of all facial features, the plump curve under the chin, which makes the model appear youthful and deliciously well-fed.
Next, we return to the scene of the shoot and find Kailee plunging her hand into her tresses in an irresistibly seductive manner, the pose all the more alluring for the indolence that the model exhibits, as if she were averse to any exertion or effort of any kind, and lazily seduces the viewer in the most languid manner imaginable.
A second pose exhibits similar beguiling lassitude, while the dress and the effective lighting abundantly showcases Miss O'Sullivan's heavy, ample voluptuousness. Clearly the dress was designed expressly with full-figured goddesses in mind.
Kailee's work with the photographer was so captivating that the camera crew was compelled to film a shot of the computer monitor as it displayed what is surely the most gorgeous photograph of the entire shoot, an image of Kailee dramatically displaying her buxom richness, while her tresses flow to the side in wild abandon, as if she were a heroine in an epic work of literature, her hair symbolizing her unbridled passions.
Another preview image is scarcely less dramatic, with the model's tresses flying as she tosses back her head, thus enacting the "motion" aspect of the campaign's "Fashion in Motion" moniker.
The next scene in the video introduces the rose motif which will feature prominently in the rest of the footage--no doubt in anticipation of a St. Valentine's Day promotion. Kailee displays her customary brilliance in presenting the many different ways in which a model can interact with a prop--including, of course, inhaling its rich fragrance.
The following image is particularly effective, with the model holding the rose out in front of her and contemplating it, as if it had just been awarded to her by an ardent suitor. Again, she recalls a heroine of romance. The association of Kailee with the voluptuous rose is unmistakable, both the model and the flower exemplifying beauty in full bloom.
A profile view of Kailee shows her gorgeous silhouette, with the perfect girlish symmetry of her face (including an adorable nose), a hint of a curve under the chin, and of course, her buxom contours. Her tresses seem to glow with a fiery light. Her expression is alluringly impassive.
Many of the most dramatic moments in the video find Kailee tossing her golden hair with as much aplomb as she twirls her pretty skirt. Observe the brilliant use of accessories in this sequence, with the model's long, flowing earrings flying with a life of their own, adding to the sense of motion conveyed by her bouncing tresses.
However, although motion is the theme of the video, many of the most captivating scenes involve moments of near stillness from the model, such as this glimpse of Kailee gentle pressing her hand into the voluptuous mass of her golden hair.
A moment later, she moves ever so slightly and adopts a languishing pose.
For most of the actual photography, Kailee adopts serious expressions--which are her forte. Some models are prettier when they smile, others more gorgeous when they adopt earnest, non-smiling looks, and Kailee (like Mayara Russi) falls into the latter category. Nevertheless, she looks adorable in the video's moments of levity, such as this playful sequence in which she twirls the ends of her rope belt.
Clearly enjoying herself, she even fixes the video camera with a comical look. It's moments like these that remind the viewer that no matter how mature and sophisticated Miss O'Sullivan appears in her images, she is still a young girl at heart, barely in her 20s.
One brief interlude suffices to acknowledge Kailee's brunette look. Her expression has a haunting seductiveness. In these dark tresses, she acquires some of the mysterious allure of the damsels in 19th-century Victorian Gothic literature.
Nevertheless, blonde is indisputably Kailee's most gorgeous hair colour, as presented in dramatic fashion in the sequence represented here, which shows her tresses flying wildly around her head, forming a golden crown, and evoking the voluminous updos that one recalls from glamorous '80s fashion.
Witness Kailee's extraordinary ability to retain serene, photogenic expressions, even when casting her hair or her figure in motion. Her facial features appear calmly reflective, even as her tresses encircle her head in untamed abandon.
Next follows the Valentine's Day sequence of the video, in preparation for which this scene presents the crew meticulously plucking the petals of luscious, long-stemmed roses. The image testifies to the high production values of the campaign, as well as the diligence of the crew. Rather than resorting to mere artificial flora, IGIGI invested in actual long-stemmed roses to achieve a truly beautiful effect.
And beautiful the effect certainly is. Marvel at this dazzling sequence from the video in which a crew member launches a dish-full of rose petals, when subsequently rain down upon Kailee (precariously perched in a heek-kicked-up pose) like a tribute from the gods.
A second angle shows Kailee coquettishly playing with her hair as the rose-petal manna falls from the heavens upon her.
Could any vision be even lovelier than the sequence shown above? Yes, indeed, because the next segment finds Kailee gracefully turning in place (again enacting the motion concept of the shoot) as the floral flurry alights upon her, even bedecking her golden tresses in rose petals, as if she were the goddess of springtime. Surely there can be no hair accessories in the world as beautiful as luscious, red rose petals, especially when they match the deep crimson fabric of the goddess's dress.
A shot of the camera monitor immediately shows one of the stills that the photographer captured as the floral shower rained down upon Kailee. Lovely as it is, the video of the petals gently wafting down upon the model remains the most gorgeous expression of this highly romantic visual.
Even Kailee herself seems enraptured by the beauty of the concept.
In the most dramatic presentation of the beauty of the model's tresses, and an extraordinary example of how much passion Kailee can infuse into a shoot, the next sequence finds her with her hand plunged into her hair and tossing her head, first one way, then the next, as if she were in the very throes of ecstasy. Observe the seductive curve in her chin in the first image,
as well as the look of sensual pleasure on her facial features in the second.
Even when Kailee releases her tresses, her hair flows around her face in unbridled luxuriance.
Not all of the video is occupied with presentations of Miss O'Sullivan's modelling aplomb. The footage includes numerous unscripted moments of jocularity, such as this glimpse of Kailee appearing bemused, and perhaps even a touch embarrassed,
followed by a look of humility, as if she were overwhelmed by the lavish praise that her work had just earned her. Observe the soft, sensual creases in the flesh of her neck.
Another candid moment finds Kailee smiling broadly about an on-set incident,
then fixing the camera with an inscrutable look, as if she were gauging the viewer's ardour for her.
And for all that Kailee's brunette tresses give her a quality of mystery, in the next shot, she actually appears more youthful and girlish, almost childlike, than at any other moment in the video.
If anything, she exudes a touch of girlish mischief, the naughtiness of a young princess who has transgressed, and knows it, but who feels that her beauty will enable her to evade any punishment, especially when she plays with her hair in such a bewitching manner.
For the second portion of Kailee's interview footage, IGIGI moves its cameras in closer, to offer an even more alluring view of her soft facial features and to create a sense of intimacy with the model, as she discloses certain particulars about herself. Observe the delicate fullness of her facial features, as round as a ripe peach, as fair as snow, and with an enchanting curve under the chin.
Said curve is even more prominent in this moment of high hilarity. Kailee's most effective modelling expressions may be her serious looks, but there is something irrepressibly joyful about her moments of smiling and laughter, as if, in these instances, she lowers her guard and relaxes with the viewer.
When she smiles while modelling, she similarly appears more easygoing and approachable, changing from elegant damsel to girl next door.
One further dramatic movement sequence in the video deserves particular attention. It begins with Kailee fixing the camera with a beguiling look, then letting her tresses toss and bounce in a playful fashion as she performs a full turn, looking ever so graceful all the while.
Another glimpse of Kailee as a brunette finds her with her tresses flowing freely about her face in dramatic fashion. (Note the alluring curve under the chin.) Movement truly is the quintessence of beauty, as this campaign vividly demonstrates.
Kailee appears enraptured by the experience, and with her look of astonished, delighted wonder, she enacts the very emotions that the viewer experiences upon beholding her images.
The following still of Kailee in her blonde mode finds her adopting an especially seductive glance, looking wild and appetitive, fixing the viewer with a hungry look, her tresses bewitchingly dishevelled, and all the more vixenish for it.
To showcase how her IGIGI dress embraces and defines Kailee's Classical curves, the camera performs a slow pan downwards, lingering over every inch of her physique. Kailee adds to the allure by seductively caressing her hair.
The final blonde look finds Kailee back in an amused frame of mind, barely able to suppress a laugh. No one, be they ever so glum, seeing this adorable vixen with her voluptuous tresses and round facial features could fail to feel gladdened in spirit and lighter of heart.
When she lets herself laugh, Kailee's face takes on an even more sensual richness, with the roundness of her features more pronounced and the luscious curve under her chin more visible. Her figure is on the smallest end of a true plus-size model, but in her facial features, she epitomizes the timeless ideal.
For the concluding brunette sequence, however, Kailee creates the most high-fashion-esque looks of the video: three stunning poses, each more sophisticated than the last. The first shows her with a regal, even imperious mien, the haughty demeanour of a true aristocrat.
The second Vogue-worthy look shows her with her eyes wild and wide, but still exuding a high-class bearing, appearing especially chic.
The third finds Kailee looking posh and intoxicatingly vain, her persona that of a child of wealth and privilege, the queen bee of high society, flashing her expensive accessory and disdainfully regarding the inferiors who worship at her feet, yet still exhibiting a softness in her facial features, for all of her imposing bearing.
Congratulations to IGIGI for another outstanding film, even more beautiful than its last. The video is artistic, splendidly pro-curvy, and effectively showcases Yuliya's stylish fashions.

I just received an e-mail ad from IGIGI earlier today, stating that the company has now released its Valentine's Day collection:
Sure enough, it features the gorgeous rose-petal images that were seen in the video:
The IGIGI site also shows beautiful cover images of Kailee. I'm especially enamoured of the first one, which shows the model looking very buxom and beautiful, with a lively expression, and with her tresses flowing in the wind. The flower petals add an extra touch of femininity and romance -- perfect for Valentine's Day.
I also adore the way in which one stray tress flows over her visage in this cover photo:

Having signed up for IGIGI e-mail updates, I received a circular earlier today with an adorable image of Kailee scrunching up her cute face and plunging her hands into her hair.
Kailee's images always keep me coming back to the IGIGI site, where I found this adorable little banner showing Kelsey inhaling the scent of a rose:
It immediately reminded me of the image of Katrina van Tassel similarly enjoying the scent of a flower as full-blown as her own beautiful body, from Tamika's delightful thread about the curviest of Disney princesses:

Each of the three images is a masterpiece in itself. First, there's Kailee dancing like a Bacchante, lost in the sensual rapture of the moment.

I just thought I'd mention that IGIGI released a very clever e-mail ad today, with images of Kailee that cycle through different poses, so that the ad suggests the "motion" theme of the campaign:

Finally, I located a Kailee banner that has not yet been posted. Her pose on the right is very graceful and balletic.
This has truly been one of the most captivating campaigns I've ever seen.
