It's been a long time since C.J. Banks ventured out of the studio for one of its campaigns, which is a shame, as it used to shoot some of the loveliest outdoor promotions in the industry.
http://www.cjbanks.com/ Therefore, it's nice to see a new shoot from the company in a lovely, natural setting. Here's the site's current cover image, showing Barbara in a beautiful, rustic environment. ![]() The greenery is so rich and lush, glowing emerald in the sunlight. I love the detail of the watering can -- such an idyllic touch. ![]() Another great element -- the weathered picket fence in the background. ![]() These locations don't just make the images more appealing. They help the clothing stand out too. Here, the purple outfit richly contrasts with the green backdrop. ![]() Even the structure in this setting is rustic, and harmonizes with the environment. ![]() ![]() The ivy growing on the walls helps it to blend harmoniously into the surroundings. ![]() Barbara herself is, of course, as gorgeous as ever. ![]() Window on the world. ![]() ![]() A few indoor shots as well, for good measure. Even these are superior to a studio setting. ![]() ![]() Kudos to C.J.Banks for selecting the gorgeous Barbara Brickner to model in this campaign, and for shooting her in such a pretty location. It's a reminder that plus-size marques used to produce campaigns that were just as beautiful and artistic as magazine editorials. I hope this promotion might herald the return of such attractive shoots. |

It's always wonderful to see new work from Mrs. Brickner.
