I was delighted to receive a new Igigi e-mail circular today featuring Marritt in the main image. Cute text too: I love the reference to her as a "plus-size princess":



I have to admit, it's not my favorite print, but I appreciate the fact that the dress is sleeveless- and when a model has arms as gorgeous as Marritt's, sleeveless is mandatory! The way in which her long hair falls over her shoulders is lovely.

The product page also shows that the dress looks great in reverse-view:



I hope this is just the beginning of a whole new Igigi campaign for Marritt.

Marritt fans will be delighted to see their favourite model appear in two fascinating online videos.

First, there is Marritt's new Ford promotional clip, which is easily one of the finest Ford videos ever shot. Marritt was given a black dress for the filming, which, while glamorous and feminine, unfortunately fails to disclose the three-dimensional contours of her stunning figure (since black absorbs the light). However, even her silhouette is goddesslike, showing off her well-fed curves.

Inevitably, the model's luscious figure garners the majority of attention in her images; however, Marritt also has a lovely face, as this still image displays.

Marritt's "haughty" looks, such as the one above, are extremely compelling, especially because they play against type. Nevertheless, she is better known for her casual smiling expressions, which (based on the video) are closer to her own personality. Note the attractive absence of a visible collarbone, submerged as it is in soft fullness.

Her quarter-turn in the video suggests her womanly body shape,

and although one might have preferred wardrobe in a different hue, the dress is commendably sleeveless, showing off the model's shapely arms.

Marritt's golden tresses are in every way her crowning glory, and to watch them in motion is a spellbinding experience.

The sight of the model walking away from the camera provides another memorable image of her alluring Classical proportions.

Second, taking a cue from Torrid and David's Prom (which recently featured exciting videos of Kelsey and Kailee, respectively), Igigi has entered the 21st century of marketing and is now creating fashion videos of its own--and appropriately, Marritt is the company's first motion-picture star.

The current Igigi cover page effectively promotes Igigi's exciting new feature:

Although one might have wished for an alluring dress video for Marritt's Igigi premiere, the result is still wonderful to see.

Both new videos are compelling presentation of Marritt's extraordinary beauty, and will surely make fans even more eager--if that's possible--to see more of this West Coast princess.

And bravo to Igigi for joining the ranks of companies promoting plus-size fashion in the most exciting manner possible--via motion pictures.

Best of all, the product page includes a video, and Marritt's presentation really brings the dress to life.

Actually, many of Igigi's products now include video presentations. Only a few show Marrit, but to the company's credit, at least the other model they're using has a visibly full figure, and the clothes look great on her.

Such a shame that it doesnt come with a video, though! I love the new video feature, and definitely get a better sense of the clothing from videos than from stills.

Again, the picture is lovely, but I would have appreciated a video too. Also, I really like the usual Igigi practice of offering side-views and reverse-views, which arent provided here. I hope they add these features.
