Default Merry Christmas

We would like to wish every reader of The Judgment of Paris a very Merry Christmas, Frohe Weihnachten, and all the best during the Yuletide season.

As we did last year, we thought that we would provide a few holiday video offerings to celebrate the occasion.

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without Chloe Agnew. Here she is in a short video in which she discusses her favourite aspects of the Yuletide season.

The following several videos are from Chloe's fabulous holiday DVD with Celtic Woman called A Christmas Celebration. We begin with the group's spirited rendition of "Ding Dong Merrily on High":

Next, we have a never-before-posted video of Chloe and another soprano singing a carol that you have probably never heard before, a Gaelic carol called "Don Oíche Úd i mBeithil," which in English means "That Night in Bethlehem." Chloe actually sings in Gaelic here, which is a lovely, melodic language.

For an brief interlude, or change of pace, here is our readers' favourite skater, Emily Hughes, in a charming performance of "Walking in a Winter Wonderland":

Now, returning to Chloe, here she is with another member of the Celtic Woman group singing the classic, "The Little Drummer Boy":

And finally, we close with the deeply moving "O Holy Night," in which video Chloe truly looks and sounds like ab angel from heaven:

Two plus-size models, Shannon Marie and Barbara Brickner, have created timeless Christmas images. Last year we posted Shannon's gorgeous photo, so this year we invite Mrs. Brickner to help us celebrate the holidays. This cozy image of Barbara reclining kittenishly on a plush pillow, with the fire crackling in the background, her tresses tumbling softly over her shoulders, a real tree with gifts in the background--the goddess herself being the finest present of all--and the whole image suffused with a warm glow, may be best depiction of the essence of the Yule ever created.

May all of your Christmases be equally warm and wonderful.
