As the company's press releases proudly note, The Bay--or more properly, the Hudson's Bay Company--is the oldest commercial corporation in North America, having been incorporated by the British crown in 1670. In its modern identity as The Bay, it is Canada's dominant department store, the northern equivalent of what J.C. Penney or Macy's or Bloomingdale's are to the U.S. That makes it all the more wonderful to report that Canada's most gorgeous plus-size model, Christina Schmidt, had shot a campaign for The Bay, the first image of which appears in this week's nationwide newspaper circular. Here is Christina's image. She looks utterly radiant, glowing with health and energy. Her round facial features (with those to-die-for cheekbones) have never been lovelier. She has once again grown out her tresses to a beautiful length. Her pose is carefree and graceful. She wears her signature big hoop earrings. Best of all, even in this casual outfit one senses the fullness of her waist and abdomen. ![]() - Hudson's Bay Company |

Christina looks stunning in that photo, as always. I agree that the longer hair brings out her best look.
I hope she'll be in more promotions in the future, especially here in Canada. |
