We feel deeply honoured whenever this site is mentioned in a print publication. The Judgment of Paris was singled out for praise in The Luscious Lady's Lexicon in 2008, and now, a novel that has been getting rave reviews titled Making It Big, by author Lyndsay Russell, has also cited this web project as a valued resource.

The premise of the novel is that a woman who feels oppressed by the minus-size, curve-o-phobic standard that pervades the modern world wakes up in an alternative reality where plus-size beauty is the cultural ideal.

The cover is certainly appealing enough, showing an emaciated woman staring longingly at her ideal self in the mirror--a luscious, voluptuous vixen with full arms and seductively generous hips.

The book will be available in print form from Amazon.com in October, as listed here. For those of you we don't mind an electronic download, it is already available in a Kindle edition.

We have not yet had a chance to read the book in question, but the write-ups at the various Amazon sites, as well as the reader reviews at Amazon.co.uk (where the print version is already available), offer a good sense of the themes and tone of Making It Big, as well as its popularity.
