As everyone surely knows, Full-Figured Fashion Week is currently taking place in New York City, and among the many important developments that the event has already generated, the most exciting is surely the introduction of a new label, MYNT 1792, which features gorgeous plus-size model Katherine Roll, size 18, as its official face (and figure). The MYNT 1792 Web site is still under construction, but its cover page features a stunning collage of images of Miss Roll. They show her participating in the most exciting activity imaginable: admiring her own opulent reverse-view curves in the mirror. Nothing is more attractive than a goddess who exhibits unabashed self-adoration. ![]() Mynt has also posted a number of images of Katherine participating in the label's press session earlier today, showing the model posing alongside some of the brand's guiding lights. ![]() Miss Roll looks buxom and gorgeous in her fitted Mynt tee, with her long, fair tresses flowing over her shoulders. ![]() Mynt officially describes itself as follows: Quote:
![]() Observe the luscious fullness of Katherine's arms in this image of the model sans jacket. ![]() The following trio of Polaroids are, if anything even more thrilling, as they display a hint of shapely fullness at Katherine's waist. Her stylish denim fits her like a second skin. ![]() One marvels at how much personality Miss Roll is able to invest in even the most casual images. ![]() If the current cover image of the Web site is any indication, this is going to be a label worth watching. The fact that Katherine has been selected as its representative means that MYNT 1792 has a perfect understanding of the type of model whom the plus-size public wishes to see: goddesses who are stunning beautiful and visibly full figured. |

If there are any other numismatists among the readers of this board, I am sure you caught the reference in the name of this new label. The United States Mint was established in 1792 (in Philadelphia, not New York, but we can give them a pass on that). The subtitle, "Out of Many One" is an English translation of the motto E Pluribus Unum which appears on all U.S. coinage. Since Katherine Roll always has million-dollar looks, with hair a color that gold can only aspire to, she is an excellent choice as Mynt 1792's first signature model.

As the images from Full-Figured Fashion Week continue to proliferate all over the Web, it's well worth revisiting this thread to share a few more pictures of Katherine in her guise as the MYNT 1792 representative. Here she is on the de facto FFFWeek red carpet, posing in her figure-hugging MYNT tee. ![]() In the following group image, she shares the frame with Jenn Purviance and two of MYNT's guiding lights. This photograph provides an especially attractive presentation of her luscious, ideal figure. ![]() Indeed, Katherine's figure exhibits such definitely perfect plus-size proportions that MYNT has been enlisting her services as the company's fit model. The label could not have made a finer choice. And in a rare, perhaps unique instance, MYNT has actually released images of some of its fitting sessions with Miss Roll. ![]() This images provide a fascinating glimpse into a rarely seen stage of the design process. They also function as the truest of all Polaroids, showing that Katherine is more gorgeous in her most incidental images than any other model could be in even the most posed and polished of photographs. ![]() Modelling a black jacket, ![]() and thus providing a tantalizing preview of what MYNT's forthcoming offerings will be like. ![]() One of the fascinating aspects of the MYNT collection is its unity. Note the snakeskin print of this jacket, ![]() and observe how it is replicated in the seductive, figure-embracing pants that Katherine wore on the FFFWeek runway. I have to say that Katherine has one of the most gorgeous plus-size figures in the modeling industry. And it shows in the Mynt 1792 outfit. Who says only thin girls get to wear figure-hugging outfits??

Mynt 1792 recently released two more images of Katherine. I hope this means that she will be in a forthcoming print campaign for the label!
She looks lovely in her signature white T, denim, and rust jacket. ![]() Note the Judy in the bottom-right image. It's encouraging to see that Mynt is using a genuinely full-figured dressform to tailor its garments. Here's Katherine on set. So beautiful. ![]() I look forward to seeing what this label has to offer, and I hope Katherine will be the company "face" (and figure). |
