It is always a pleasure to share new campaigns from South American stunner Mayara Russi, who, with her ideal size-22 figure, shows the world the kind of physique that plus-size models should have. These latest images were provided to us by forum visitor Irina. Although the label that produced this campaign is not yet known (identified only as "catalogo enfase verao 2013"), the results are outstanding--one of the earliest glimpses at Brazil's forthcoming spring/summer fashions. Pride of place goes to this masterpiece, showing Mayara in a citrus dress that lovingly embraces the most gorgeous aspect of her figure--her rounded midsection. ![]() Another abbreviated dress, this one in an ultra-feminine lacy fabric, also accentuates the fullness of her middle and bares her soft, shapely arms and legs. ![]() A number of the pictures show Mayara alongside a less richly endowed model. Her dress attractively emphasizes the swell at her waist. Also, note the beauty of the locations. The campaign was photographed at the Tayaya Resort--a lovely setting indeed, with a warm, tropical ambiance. ![]() In an ideal fashion world, the girl on the left would represent all women size 16 and below, while goddesses such as Mayara would stand in for all beauties size 18 and larger. No waifs required. ![]() The lush greenery and organic hues of the backdrops to these images make them far more attractive, and even make the clothing more appealing, than if the campaign had been photographed in a bare studio. ![]() This particularly abbreviated dress effectively shows off the model's legs. Many of the pieces in this collection provide outstanding examples of the body-as-fashion-accessory principle of plus-size styling. ![]() Mayara channels Lindsey Garbelman in this breathtaking image. Observe how, even though the outfit skims the body, Mayara's sumptuous figure still shapes fabric into an opulent, womanly form. ![]() A closer fit in the following dress provides an even clearer definition of the model's shape. The bed in the background and the cabana-like open-air backdrop create a sensation of relaxation and ease. ![]() The following mint-greed dress provides the most sensual display of the model's physique in any of the pictures from this campaign. Mayara's swelling curves seductively strain at the buttons, as if the garment can barely encompass her figure. ![]() Even in images where the outfits are not as exciting, Mayara's innate beauty infuses the images with considerable appeal. ![]() In this passionate red dress, Mayara presents her most glamorous look. ![]() The blossoming greenery in the foreground, in the following picture, enhances the femininity of the outfts on display. ![]() Bravo to Mayara for another stunningly beautiful and size-positive campaign, once again setting an example that the rest of the plus-size fashion industry would do well to emulate. I think these photos reveal the real Mayara, her true weight. No photoshop. She is gorgeous.

Thanks to Blackcap's discovery of the Źnfase video (which also identified the correct name of this Brazilian label), we are now pleased to provide a link to the company's official Web site, which includes a .pdf catalogue of Mayara's campaign, available for download. The catalogue features two further images from the campaign, including this gorgeous headshot. Observe the fleshiness of the model's facial features and the sensual fullness at her neck and shoulder area. ![]() The following double shows Mayara looking particularly buxom, with full arms and a generous waist. ![]() We have amended our original post to provide clearer images, taken from the catalogue. Feel free to click on any of the photos in this thread to view them at a larger size. |
