I am so grateful for this website! I'm 5 foot 4 and full-figured, and for years I've been so down on myself about it. I was always trying to lose the weight. It was my husband who finally told me he didn't want me to lose any weight. He said, "Did it ever occur to you that I like you just the way you are?" and I was stunned. It had honestly never occured to me! Even though he told me ALL THE TIME that I was beautiful, I never really believed him. I thought he was just being nice.
Now I believe him. For the first time in my whole life, I can look in the mirror and see the beauty in myself. I bought new clothes that really show off my figure, instead of waiting till I lose weight to buy nice things. For the first time EVER, I'm embracing my curves and who I am, and it's so liberating! I can't believe I wasted all those years hating myself!
Anyway, I was surfing the net for plus-size beauty, to see pictures of women like me, and I found this site. This is an amazing website. All of the women on this website are beautiful, confident, and sexy. We need more images like this in the media. Then maybe so many beautiful girls wouldn't hate themselves like I did for so many years.
My husband is an artist, and he has begged to paint me to let him paint me for years, but I never consented because I hated my body so much. Now I'm going to let him!

It's encouraging to hear of Persephone's growing self-adoration. And plus-size models everywhere--along with the photographic teams that capture their beauty on film, and the fashion retailers who make the creation of these images possible--should be gratified to learn of the salutary effect that their work has upon the public.

How tragic that it took Persephone so long--as she herself rues--to free herself from her size-related inhibitions. If only it had happened sooner, especially during the vulnerable stage of adolescence, she wouldn't be regretting having "wasted all those years" with a distorted self-image.

Life is too short to deprive oneself of happiness. The earlier that voluptuous vixens allow themselves to wear whatever they like, eat whatever they like, and become as beautiful as they can possibly be, the more years they will enjoy living life to the fullest.

Try an experiment. Buy a beautiful dress in a more comfortable size--today. Indulge in a sinfully decadent dessert--today. Relax and enjoy life--today--instead of punishing yourself needlessly.

Let your memories be of a lifetime of blissful satisfaction, not of an eternity of denial and regret.
