I actually kind of like the Mk One styles, or at least the tops, and especially the cut of the purple top (although I am NOT wild about that pattern). Most of the pieces show off the arms and shoulders really nicely. Charlotte is very shapely, which certainly helps. And its true, the location adds a great deal.

This may be a stretch, but when I think of Orientalist paintings, I admire the mood they create, which is warm and relaxed and intimate. They actually remind me of the feeling I used to get from Mode.

And speaking of Mode, I see that Kate Dillon is at Marks and Spencer. She still has that lovely face, and Ive always liked her with lighter hair, but it saddens me how small she became. If only she had kept her luxurious Mode proportions all these years, I cant even imagine how many images of unbelievable beauty she could have created. But I admire her very much for all the good she has done.
