I love the look of the DBW campaign. The cover is a very pretty shot, and a very nice dress, too. If there were a Dress Barn in Canada, I would probably pick one up for myself (but I would have to get a pair of shoes just like Valeries to go with it).
But I just saw that Penningtons has a NEW spring video on its site, and its much better than the previous one. It begins with footage of Jeanna Lynn in bed, in the soft morning light, and has many other nice scenes as well. I think all of the models look better in the video than they do in the photographs, actually, and in one scene, Cathy has her hair done in a wavy romantic do that suits her much better, I think, than the stick-straight style does. And you get a much better sense of what the clothes really look like from the video than from single pictures.
Also, like Barbara Brickner, I think Jeanna is a model whose look is really improving.
It is a great campaign, and Im glad Penningtons caught it on film.
