All I know is that I would buy or subscribe to any publication that did put out an issue like this- and so would a lot of men, I know for a fact. Seeing those images brings me right back to the days of Mode at its peak. Coincidentally, Victoria's Secret put out a new swimwear book this week, featuring the company's usual famine victims. A similar book with Barbara and her peers instead- THAT would be transformative. I applaud Happy Size for doing the shoot, and also for something else- it now has a separate catalog for plus-size juniors, with junior plus-size models. At a time when bigotry against full-figured girls has reached epidemic proportions, it's a rare and wonderful example of a positive development.
