Once again, as in the Terri Schiavo case, this is a situation where someone actually died as a direct result of the worship of unnatural thinness. And where is the media outrage? Where are the hundreds of stories about the dangers of dieting and weight loss? You don't hear a peep about this.

It just boggles my mind that no one blinks an eye as the media churns out a daily dose of anti-plus propaganda with vague fearmongering about so-called epidemics, when women are literally DYING as a result of LOSING weight.

And yet people actually believe what they read in the press.

It's frightening to see how fictions can become more persuasive than facts, just by incessant repetition.
