That was a stroke of genius on the designer's part. Not only was he brilliant in going for something organic instead of artificial, but where the others looked for substitutes for *fabric*, he sought a substitute for *thread*. Not bad.
Interesting dress, too (at least the "fresh" version). If someone could take the general look, the colours especially, perhaps with a print, and make it in fabric, it could be wearable.
