I mean that not just in reference to the Renaissance revival of classical beauty, but also in the sense of someone who is talented in many art forms. I admire Barbara very much for expressing herself in so many ways, and especially for turning her own sadness into a song of such beauty.

I found Barbara's song *very* moving, and when she sang about the child her friend left behind, I became quite emotional- to think of the poor family that has lost their mother. But you know, the song also *did* elevate my spirits as well, in its hopeful message that the mother is present in the beauty of the natural world, which is permanent, and can console the loved ones she leaves behind. This may actually be the most hopeful message about human loss I've heard.
