I think Hilary Duff is a great ro-model. She isn't slutty, she doesn't put herself out there for the wrong reasons,and is a typical teen when you take away her fame. Girls can relate to her in soo many ways.Another thing I like is that she took the iniciative to follow her dreams. Everyone says her success was handed to her but I believe she earned it just by putting up with all the criticism from the public. Although I think she's a decent singer, what I like most is that she writes or helps write most of the songs she sings. Her songs are fun, flirty and inspirational. People don't know her ( I don't either ) but before you decide you hate her, read her bio. ,you might be surprised.
