This "big brother" act, as it was called, is clearly just the latest devious attempt by Hollywood to draw peoples' attention to losing weight. Even by sinking so low as embedding the idea in the minds of young children...third graders thinking they are f**! The very concept is sickening. The educational systems in North America need to focus MUCH more on the fact that these children hold the key to the future, rather than focusing on a number on a bathroom scale. It is, again, as stated before, exactly the reason we have such low educational success as opposed to other first world nations. Too much attention is given to the inexistent "weight problem" than to teaching children how to become respectable, intellectual young adults. |
