Melanie, I think Nordstrom changed your image from the paisley you posted to a solid chocolate/turquoise combo. It's definitely an improvement -- this colour scheme looks much better. I like it even more than the black, especially how it looks on Barbara.

I really envy the styles that junior plus girls have available today (where were they when I was younger?), and I think they testify to growing body-confidence in the younger generation.

Let me make another contribution to this thread, courtesy of Dillard's. Dillard's exemplifies how bright the future of plus-size fashion is, because while their "mature" plus offerings are a bit dowdy, the junior-plus section looks like Torrid!

Here are two items that fit nicely with this thread -- a gorgeous "gauze halter" dress


and a chiffon camisole top


The model has been mentioned here before. She's really pretty, with a very natural, non-aerobicized figure. She reminds me of a curvier Hilary Duff, who is so popular with the younger girls on this site.
