Do you know what happens every time we post a new gallery of Valerie Lefkowitz images?

That's right. We're flooded with requests for more.

It is "As if increase of appetite had grown / By what it fed on," to use Hamlet's words. Quite simply, the more frequently Valerie's fans see her, the more frequently they wish to see her.

Here is a typical example of the requests that we receive, from a certain "Steve Smith":

At the risk of sounding too greedy you must post more pictures of this strikingly beautiful young woman! Her classic beauty and radiant smile make her truly one of the most gorgeous women on the planet. Thank you for what you have posted so far and I look forward to much more in the future.

There are dozens more like it, except that the petitions for more instances of Ms. Lefkowitz modelling bikinis are particularly . . . earnest.

Our response is always the same: If you wish to see more images of your favourite model(s), please, contact the retailers, since they are the ones who commission the images in the first place. You should also importune companies that are not currently using plus-size models to begin doing so.

In the meantime, Valerie's fans will be delighted to see a host of utterly ravishing new images of their beloved starlet at "Emme Bridal" (www.emmebridal.com). The site has recently been updated to feature the company's combined Spring/Fall 2004 line, and apart from the cover shots (which are from past seasons), the entire site is filled, wall-to-wall, with some of the most intoxicatingly beautiful images that Ms. Lefkowitz has ever created.

The "Emme Bridal" pages feature Valerie in a series of wedding gowns, and the "Emme Bridesmaid" present her in a variety of formal styles.

The bridal images are especially unforgettable. Although we usually prefer outdoor settings, no landscape on this terrestrial sphere could draw the viewer's eyes away from Ms. Lefkowitz. Seeing the model in immaculate white against a slate-grey backdrop creates the impression of Valerie as a luminous angel, radiant with celestial light, a beacon of hope against a story sky.

The site provides many examples of Valerie showing off her well-known smile--a smile so pretty that it can gladden even the most despondent spirit, and fill even the most troubled heart with joy:

But one also sees Valerie experimenting with the more passionate expressions that are her particular strength, communicating an intensity of feeling that no other model can rival:

These dresses seem tailor-made to accentuate the model's heavenly beauty. Sleeveless, strapless, and halter styles--we see many examples of each. Emme Bridal deserves particular credit for realizing (as few companies do) that the optimum attractions of a revealing dress on a full-figured goddess can only be realized when one shows how the dress looks from the back:

And although, in this case, Valerie is wearing full-length gowns, the images demonstrate the benefits of presenting any open-back style from the reverse view, from casual dresses, to tops.

Perhaps the most glorious images of all show Valerie from an angle, in a luxuriant hairstyle that differs from any she has ever worn before, with her blonde tresses tumbling down her back:

The lighting looks like a sunbeam piercing through storm-clouds, bathing Valerie in a soft glow.

Viewers will be forgiven if they go weak in the knees at the sight of these images. If any groom was ever confronted with such a sight on his wedding day, he would surely swoon at the altar. Emme Bridal deserves credit for realizing that the beauty of a full-figured angel is never so apparent as it is on her wedding day, and for presenting that divine order of beauty to the world.
