"Sexy girls have dessert"

I was at the Nordstrom site today and I saw a pink ad banner that said -

"Sexy girls have dessert".

I thought right away that this is just about as radical a size-celebration slogan as there could ever be, so I looked into it.

It turns out that this is the slogan of a makeup line called "Dessert Beauty". The bad news is that its by Jessica Simpson (ugh!!) BUT, despite that, I still think its a pretty exciting idea.

Too bad they arent using plussize models to promote the line. I guess that would be just too perfect, too much to hope for. Still, at a time when the media is hellbent on making women feel ashamed of eating, its great to see a push in the other direction.
