What a nice letter that was. I'm glad Helga is learning to love herself. And I think it's interesting how she talks about her relationship with her sister. I never had a sister, but a lot of my friends talk about their frustrations with their sisters. I think with the love, there's also a lot of competition, and weight is another thing that gets thown in when arguments start, cause it's such an emotional hot button.
But in most if the sister relationships I know, it's the skinny sister who's usually jealous of the "chubbier" but more popular sister. I think maybe it's because the thin sister thinks: I'm doing what I'm "supposed" to be doing and obsessing over my weight, so why is SHE getting the guys?
By the way, everybody knows this already, but Barbara looks great in that picture. I think Lands End should offer bikinis next year. I might even buy one. Maybe.
