I think this might be another way in which plus-size fashion and modeling could be changing the culture. Skinny-size fashion became very trashy and vulgar until quite recently, and some of it still is. But in plus-size fashion, relatively *innocent* items like sleeveless tops, and miniskirts, and halter dresses, are newly daring and exciting, because they were forbidden for so long.

Plus-size modeling/fashion may be helping society recover a measure of its lost innocence.
