New test images from Barbara Brickner are rare treasures, but the model has just released a new series that confirms what many fans have been saying for the past two seasons--i.e., that Mrs. Brickner is more gorgeous today, right now, than at any other point in her career.

Pride of place among the new images goes to this masterpiece, which is the loveliest image Barbara has created since her acclaimed Douglas B. test shoot.

Not only is it an exquisite presentation of the full measure of Mrs. Brickner's allure, but it is also a shining example of the "New Femininity" that she, herself, helped originate. The soft, classical dress frames the beauty of Barbara's curvaceous figure most effectively. The curls of hair tumbling carelessly over her shoulders are a particularly attractive detail. And Barbara's dreamy, faraway look perfectly compliments the romantic quality of her attire. The image creates a mood of pure enchantment, and is one of the finest works of art that this most accomplished of models has ever created.

One would give a great deal to see further images from this series, showing Barbara in that curve-adoring dress.

The rest of the new images are more strictly purposeful, but they too have their charm. Ponchos are uniquely challenging garments to showcase, because they give a model so little to work with. But Barbara manages to create a stunning image all the same. The wild, wonderous hairstyle assists considerably, and reminds us how seldom we are privileged to see Barbara in strategically tousled tresses--and how dearly we would love to see such images more often. And the "film noir" lighting accentuates the harmony of Barbara's facial features, which easily match and surpass the allure of Ingrid Bergman, or of any starlet from the silver-screen era.

And finally, this headshot catches the eye because of Barbara's soul-stirring expression, which conveys innocence and wonder.

The joy that aficionados will experience in seeing these new images of Mrs. Brickner will surely be overwhelming. How fondly we all wish that this model took more opportunities to go beyond even her consistently stunning commercial work, and create works of art such as these.

For six years, we have been indebted to Barbara for bringing Classical beauty to life. And today, that debt is greater than ever before.
