I saw the issue today, and the "epidemic" ad you refer to. Its sad but typical. There have always been TWO Figure magazines. One, the good one, has Valerie Lefkowitz and Megan Garcia covers and layouts (and a Barbara Brickner cover someday - I hope). The other one has articles and ads that are anything but positive. I will never understand the schizophrenic nature of the magazine, especially because I really DO like the good parts - even if the fashion is hit and miss.

Is it really so hard to believe in worshipping curves, and celebrating being plus, instead of questioning it, and worrying about it?

And in my opinion, parents do better if they pay attention to whats going into their daughters MINDS, not whats going into their mouths.
