I have to agree with the other comments on the cover and the "dancing" spread. I am troubled by some of the messages in Figure, but I haven't seen a magazine embrace "plus-size beauty" this much since early MODE.
I had friends over this weekend, and I deliberately left the last two issues of Figure on my coffee table for everybody to see. I wondered how they would react. Well, they reacted wiith amazement- a good kind of amazement, an "it's about time" kind. And they all agreed that Valerie and Megan were more gorgeous than any models they'd ever seen.
Beauty + true curves: it can be done!
